We wear out suitcases regularly with all the travel we do, so we invest in high quality luggage and use it till it dies. I just replaced a larger suitcase with this great, lightweight piece from Briggs & Riley. The fabric, wheels, zippers are excellent quality. I can pack a week's clothes and still be in the 50 lb airline restriction. Highly recommend it and will buy another.

Just purchased 2 of this 24" luggage for a cruise to the Caribbean. Our old ones from Costco (Kirkland brand), though also of excellent quality, were 27" and heavier by about 4 pounds, and we knew we'd be tempted to overpack and end up going over the 50# limit on the airline. This size, even when the expandable section was opened on the return trip, kept us below that limit, and we still had plenty of weight allowance left. They held 12 days worth of clothing. (Granted they were lightweight, summery-type clothes. Packing for cooler weather over that same period of time would be more of a challenge, I'm sure.)

The bag held up extremely well, and still looks new. The exterior material has a beautiful sheen to it that sets it apart from other red bags. It's nicely organized, though I'd like to have zipper pockets at either the ends or the sides inside to keep the little stuff. The top has a zippered section inside where one can pack dressy clothing so it won't shift. My husband's suit came through completely unwrinkled, as did my dressier dresses.

We're both very happy with this purchase. We bought a sky blue one for my mom, and it is the same fine product. Too bad the blue one isn't made anymore, since it's a beautiful color.
