I opted for this unit over many of the others I researched for its mix of features, brand reputation, warranty, and price range. Once it was delivered I had it assembled and running in minutes. Initially, I was a bit disappointed to discover the number of plastic components that were part of the construction. It "felt cheap" as I was putting it together. I may find myself upgrading some of the plastic parts(such as the wand handle) to something better, or I may be forced to do so as these parts wear out. Once I had it running (it started on the first pull of the cord) and tested it out on some surfaces, it did exactly what I needed it to do. The low pressure additives (soap, chemicals) inlet hose works great.
I bought this washer for a couple special projects that I needed to get done. The first was the cleaning of my pool surface and the other to take care of some badly stained concrete and pave stones. For both of these jobs the Briggs & Stratton 020274 is turning out to be a good choice. I was a bit surprised that in order to get the surfaces clean I needed to place the spray head pretty close to the surface which narrowed the width of surface I was cleaning - less than 2 inches wide. So at 3000psi I was still required to make several narrow passes over the surface to get the job done. I don't know if that tells me that a higher psi would get the job done faster or not. The experts all seem to agree that 3000 is plenty for the do-it-yourself-ers and general around the house jobs. In retrospect, I might have gone the next level if the price wasn't so incrementally higher. I think I made the right choice and I would recommend it to others.

I am going to give this water pressure a four star. I would have gave it a five star but the plastic nozzles are very cheap. I didn't realize it until I was done spraying that the plastic cover for the nozzle was missing. It must have just pop off. I know I did not get close enough to hit anything because being my first time using it I was careful and I did not know how much pressure it had and did not want to tear up my house. I looked all over for it. I was ready to give up trying to find it but then I looked across the street and seen it along the curb. I tried to stick the cover back on but I don't think it was meant to come on and off. I guess I will try and find some better ones that can be used with the same model. Other than that, it is a good model. It was easy to put together. The manual was easy to understand and it started right up. I was even surprised with the high pressure. Better then the ones at the car wash.

Nifty machine starts easily. Came with a broken plastic deck to house nozzles, but a quick call to customer service had it replaced in 2 days. Rubber feet leave black marks on driveway which need to be blasted off. Quite satisfied so far.

Product came on time as anticipated. Product was complete with all items as stated. Cold here in Indiana at this time and have not put the power washer to use, however I have checked it out, read up on the manual and test run the machine. It has performed as stated and did a great job on the test evaluation of the equipment. I am pleased with my purchase. I am consistently pleased with Amazon.com and their service to the customers. Thanks Amazon!
