There are several thermal valves listed on Amazon. I was looking for one that had a 3/8 male NPT end. The 200 max. pressure and 140 temp. was also given and fits the description of what I needed. There was one listed as a Briggs & Stratton part number 208673GS with no thread type indicated nor any other descriptions. The price was several dollars cheaper than the others. I did some Googling and came across this 208673GS ad stating it was indeed a 3/8NPT male end. GREAT!!! Well, I went back to Amazon and ordered the Briggs part. Saved several dollars. Now I have the part which came in today and it DOES NOT have 3/8NPT threads, instead they are 1/4NPT threads--so now we know what the thread size is for this Briggs part. Now all is not lost, because I will go to the hardware store and invest in a 3/8nptx1/4npt pipe bushing. This will allow me to screw the bushing into the pressure washer and then screw the valve into the bushing. The thermal valve is the same as my old except for the threads so this should work fine. I hope this will help if you are looking for a new valve and undecided what to do.There are the Oregon brands that have all three sizes with the thread specs and pressure with temp range. They cost more.I'm guessing my Briggs will do the job as well as the Oregon and save me several dollars.

I bought a new power washer and the thermal release valve came broken on it, long story short I got a new power washer but was able to keep broken one so I just purchased this and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. The valve does its job well, when power washer is on and the gun is not being used it will release the water to not damage the unit.

This Briggs and Stratton Thermal relief valve will work on many different models. I bought this item for a Honda powered pressure washer and it is an exact fit. Works great.

This Briggs and Stratton Thermal Relief Valve fit my Delta DT2200 pressure washer perfectly. Just be careful when wheeling your pressure washer down steep granite stairs so you don't break it off. That is why I am writing this review.

I have a 20 year old Generac power washer (with a Briggs and Stratton engine) that blew a thermal relief valve last summer. I wanted to see if I could fix the thing before spending upwards of $300 on a new washer. Fortunately, I had the old machine's exploded parts diagram and parts number. I did an internet search on the part number and found that over the years it had changed to #208673GS. Additionally, I found that Amazon had the best price. I installed it and the old washer is working just fine!

This item was used on a troy bilt power washer 3000 psi. It turns out that this wasn't really the problem, but it functions like the original.

I blew out the relief valve on my honda power washer. This one fit right in and does the job despite being made of very light weight metal.
