Not exactly extended life,

I have a Cub Cadet with the Briggs 31Q777 engine. The crankcase has developed positive pressure which blows oil into the carb and out the vent on the vacuum fuel pump. Compression is good. The engine has only 100 hours on it and has been maintained. The Briggs authorized service center said the motor was not worth fixing.
