Product Description
Part number 5025B contains genuine Briggs and Stratton parts for use in converting 2 through 11 horsepower engines which were originally equipped with breaker ignition to maintenance free electronic ignition. The sealed Magnetron Model is not affected by moisture and cannot corrode like breaker points. Instructions for installation, a replacement stop switch wire, and a replacement flywheel key are included. Only genuine parts are backed by the Briggs and Stratton engine warranty, and this item has a limited lifetime warranty.

I have fought with the points in my edger for years every time I wanted to use it it would not start. I installed the Electronic Ignition kit and edger started on first pull.
