Vapor Lock? Buy This
After inheriting a 20 year old Craftsman Lawn Tractor with my new house, I was quickly frustrated by a bad case of vapor lock. Poor savings and misleading pictures
Price was equivalent to what I could buy locally. Fuel filter DID NOT come with compression clamps as pictured in the main description. Poor description does not explain to the consumer that they do not come with it.

I rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the filter according to Sears recommended parts... no luck. It turns out many Briggs & Stratton replacement filters are incorrectly listed with 30-60 micron filters.Since adding this filter, my lawn tractor has run wonderfully without any vapor lock issues. As another review mentions, I'm docking a star because of the hose clamps shown in the image that aren't included. |
