I got my first fuel saver cap several years ago with the purchase of a John Deere lawnmower. I have since added the cap to my pressure washer and snow thrower, and they have performed flawlessly. Since starting use of these, I've been able to pull any of them out after sitting for several months and they all fire right up with no questions asked. Well worth the investment to save the headaches.

I thought (stupidly) that my new mower should have the OEM setup on the fresh start fuel additive. But just as easy, you can add a few drops from a bulk bottle to every third tank during mowing season. Keeps fuel from degrading. Save your money, go to Walmart, and buy a bottle of bulk fuel preservative.

If your lawnmower has one of these fuel Booster shots on the gas cap, it is definitely worth replacing when empty. The mower starts easier, runs better, (and goes faster!) and they're cheap in a multi-Pak. If needed, the stronger engine will go thru tall, wet grass!

These really do help if you up keep the lawn mower. I use these every season and they help me with one two pull starts, because I got the self propelled they do not have a bulb to prime. They do not last long so make sure the mower tank is full so you can get every ounce you paid for mixed in the gas. I would say they last a month, much better then a dead mower sitting outside, which I have to figure out :0. Make sure if your storing for off season to pour out all the gas and run the mower till it stalls out or add a lot of Briggs fuel stabilizer to keep the gas from gunking up. Figured that out after having to pull the carb for a through cleaning.

Must have for easy start B&G engines. Found it for $10 at Sears. Best price on Amazon. You cannot go wrong with that.

I bought a Snapper because they are easy to start and maneuver. What I didn't realize is that they need this tiny little cup of Fresh Start in order to operate efficiently. And, the little vials of Freah Start are impossible to find at Lowe's, Home Depot, or any of the local "mower parts" places. So I found this place online and stocked up through the next 2 years. Thanks! Arrived fast, packages well, priced well. Will buy again.
