You like SHEER TERROR?, August 6, 2008
This review is from: Bright As the Stars We're Under (Audio CD)
Paul bearer picks up right where he left off. This is similar to the more rock n rolly/punk tracks off LOVES SONGS FOR THE UNLOVED. The usual great songwriting from Paul Bearer... Sheer Terror is so jocked... why isn't this band discussed more??

Great CD thats under-appreciated, May 5, 2005
This review is from: Bright As the Stars We're Under (Audio CD)
This CD is great. I heard about this band from Street Anthem Records website. And I read some reviews about Joe Coffee, and what I heard made me interested, so I bought it. I would say Joe Coffee is heavy metal. Powerful emotional singing like Danzig, with catchy rythmn. The downside is there isnt many songs on the CD, but the song lengths are good. If you like Danzig, or singing with power behind it, catchy guitar riffs, and hard drumming, get this CD. I paid $10-$12 for it, and its money well spent. Upon 1st listening to it, there was about 3-4 songs that stood out. But after listening to it more, other songs grew on me as well. This is a good band, they just dont have the popularity. The singer of this band was previously with a band called Sheer Terror, and this CD was kind of like a side project. This is one of my favorite CDs.
