this is one of the best albums I've heard in a long while. i say album because it works as such, not just a collection of songs for your ipod. remember how the abby road medley works? well, it's the same here. it starts off rockin', and then dips into this mezmerizing swirling drone that doesn't let up until the very end.

This album is full of mood, meaning, and intention. It is integrated and enervated. Even the mistakes work like a paper clip to hold it all together. A Pitchfork reviewer online calls the album "messy"; it is...messy like a jewel case full of pearls rolling around, each shimmering in the light. Oh look, there's one on the floor!
