Watership Down song a real tear jerker,

will be getting this for my mother for christmas though Art Garfunkle has christmas albums I wanted my mother to hear "Bright Eyes" she loves the animated movie(Watership Down) and Simon/Garfunkle, but especially Art Garfunkle who in her opinion(and mine) as a better voice than Paul Simon. Oddly enough, Garfunkle didn't like the song, but that is because he didn't know what it was used in if he had seen "Watership Down" he'd understand it is not a love song but a spiritual one.

This is a wide survey of Garfunkel. The 20 track list is identical to the Australian compilation CD "Best of Art Garfunkel" and NorthAmerican compilation "Simply The Best".
There are a few major songs not included here such as "Second Avenue"; "My Little Town"; and "All I Know" (which shows up in "Playlist" and "Up Til Now" as the bare version of Jimmy Webb on the piano and Art's voice.) Indeed, this compilation, and Up Til Now will provide a broad expanse of great Garfunkel. |
