A Hawaiian Christmas like no other, December 13, 2003
This review is from: A Bright Hawaiian Christmas (Audio CD)
I do not agree with the person who said this sounds like a boring day at the Honolulu Airport. Teresa Bright has never been shy about her love of jazz, but sometimes that love has not made her career blossom as it should. This is a jazzy album, but it's far from lightweight. If you're a fan of Lani Hall, the vocalist on some of Sergio Mendes' great albums of the late 60's, you will love this album. Don't expect sweeping orchestrations or 'ukulele solos, this is a jazz album, and one that I feel has bene widely ignored by the masses, especially by those who believe that nothing can come from Hawai'i but Hawaiian music, period. One day people will catch up to the greatness of this CD, and when they do, Teresa Bright may shine as bright as her name.

This is awful, December 18, 1999
This review is from: A Bright Hawaiian Christmas (Audio CD)
I guess if you're looking for the kind of Christmas sound that captures the experience of waiting in the lounge at the Honolulu Airport on December 24th then this is the album for YOU! I think that just about says it all. .
