I was really excited when I saw this and couldn't wait to get home and try it out. I thought it'd be really helpful now to put toys on for my 5 month old and when he gets older, for finger foods, but the tray doesn't snap on. It may work better for little ones but it pinches my son and just won't stay on. It falls off immediately, doesn't really fit onto the seat at all, and seems quite useless. I bought it this morning and will be returning it this afternoon. For $2.50 (at Target) I'd try it again, if they redesigned it to somehow snap onto the seat.

Do NOT buy the Tray September 10, 2007
The BUMBO seat is wonderful, but the Tray is AWFUL...a true waste of money. It is surprising that the same company created these two products. Getting the tray on is a little tricky, but that is not the problem. The problem is that the tray comes off with just about any movement. So, unless your infant sits perfectly still at all times, avoid this product. And I don't just mean fussy type movements...ANY movement can knock the tray off. If my 7 month-old slightly lifts her leg, off it comes. One wonderful thing about the seat is the lack of straps, but the same cannot be said about the tray. It definitely needs to be secured in some fashion. Once my daughter realizes it is off, she grabs it with both hands, and it becomes a large and awkward toy. I think there are better "toys" on the market, so since that is all it is good for, I'll be returning it tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and just enjoy the Bumbo seat as it is.

Not worth it May 15, 2007
The fit is awkward and it does not go on securely. You also have to really watch the leg piece to make sure it does not pinch your baby's legs. It slides off easily. (Aside from this, Target took weeks and weeks to ship this. We won't order from them again.)

Nice idea, but impractical
I thought this would be a great add on to the awesome bumbo chair, but it ended up being impractical and useless.

It's hard to attach in the first place. Read more

chair tray
I like the idea of the tray attached to the bumbo chair but it does not have anything to attach a toy. In summary, anything you put on it will fall. Read more

Nice addition to the Bumbo
We really like the Bumbo, and I was thrilled to see a tray for it. I read many reviews saying the tray is too easy to get off, but I think those people didn't get it on correctly. Read more

Bumbo is useless without the tray
I wish I bought this when my son first started to use the Bumbo. He hated it without the tray and just wanted to get out. I can put toys on it and he can play with it. Read more

Great for feeding
I use the tray in conjunction with the Bumbo chair to feed my 6 month old. It works very well for this and she also likes to sit in the chair with the tray on and play. Read more

Serves its purpose
My almost 5 month old loves the bumbo and so do I. The tray allowes for her to play with some of her toys without me having to go constantly pick them up when she drops them. Read more
