I noticed another reviewer shared my chief complaint: the package arrives, brand new and factory sealed, with parts missing. Important parts. A deck of special cards which at least a third of the tricks make use of is not included. Liners for the miniature trash bin, which make retrieving anything from the narrow secret compartment possible are not included. Something else too, but I don't remember what it was, and I no longer care enough to retrieve the thing from the garbage to find out. My son had really been looking forward to a new magic kit, and this mistake of a gift put a real damper on Christmas for us.

I purchased this kit for my five year old nephew and he absolutely loves it. There are some pretty nasty items in the kit but if you don't mind gross things, it's a hoot!! A nice combo of tricks and gags.

It didnt even have all of the parts. The instructions were hard to understand and follow for me so the kids certainly couldnt do it on their own. Not fun at all.....it goes to goodwill.

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson, who loves magic.
It is fun, but definitely needs a great deal of adult supervision.
Be prepared to spend time reading & figuring out how to do it all.

My 10 year old son begged for this for Christmas after seeing it on tv. He immediately got frustrated at how difficult the instructions were to understand and has already lost interest. This one will be in the recycle bin before long.

Bought this for my 9 year old son. He loves it - and my older girls thought it was very cool as well. Lots of fun, gross things to do. He loved the comic book directions.

I just received The Gross Magic Kit a few days ago and gave it to my nephew. He told me it was totally awesome and he is now becoming the neighborhood prankster. He really loves it, especially when he uses the roach tricks on his friends. (We) highly recommend this product to any child who likes performing practical jokes and magic!

A friend purchased this for my seven year old son. He was very excited to get this gift and eager to open it. When we opened it we found that it contained cockroach eggs with hatching instructions. Needless to say, in my paranoia we burned the entire package.
