This compilation of various styles/artists is the best that I have heard! Starting with (my 3 1/2 year old's favorite) the theme song from the children's show "Arthur" and ending with Raffi's beautiful rendition of "Good Night Irene", this CD is sure to be an instant hit with both parents and children. It is a very engaging mixture of all musical forms from bossa nova to country to a very soulful version of "Old MacDonald." Because of this creative mixture, I find myself looking forward to the next musical style and not becoming bored with the same old predictibility that is so common in children's music. This CD features all the greats: the Gunthries together, Cathy and Marcy and John McCutcheon-just to name a few. Not only is this terrific music, but it also benefits homeless children. Run out and buy this one!!

A fine addition to your family of children's music. You and your kids will find a new haven of quiet enjoyment. When they just won't sleep I lean on this one as a crutch to quiet them down. The only thing missing is a cool version of Patty cake

What a great cd to have in your collection. As a preschool teacher this cd is a staple in my classroom. It is also good to have in the van at all times. It is a wonderful collection of songs by some wonderful artist. My favorite song is the version of Old MacDonalds farm. The songs are fun and exciting. Not to mention the proceeds help out children living in homeless shelters. This is a must have for anyone!

This CD is entertaining and fun for everyone. While the songs are great for kids, adults will enjoy them too. This is important particularly if your child is going to play them over and over! Woody and Arlo Guthrie's rendition of "This Land is Your Land" will get kids singing along and remind some adults of their guitar-playing elementary school teacher. "Bossa By The Numbers" by the Crawdaddys will definitely make you smile and "Old MacDonald" by the Dream Project is a cool take on that classic song. Not only will any child or adult enjoy this CD but proceeds benefit homeless kids -- both great reasons to buy it!

A friend had given my first grandchild a copy of this CD. We loved playing it and I especially fell in love with Bling-Blang. Purchased this copy so my newest grand could enjoy it too, and she does. Great music that can be enjoyed for the little ones as well as their grandparents.

Priceless: Arlo and Woody Guthrie singing "This is my land" together. Reminded me of how I tried to learn the song as a kid, and now I'm enjoying this remix with my own kids. What a wonderful surprise.

This is a good CD of travel music that does NOT drive my husband nuts. We call it the 'Arthur' CD, as the first song is the Ziggy Marley song that is the credits song for the PBS series ("And I say HEY! What a wonderful kind of day...") I appreciate the mix of artists and 'listen-able' music. PLUS it's for a good cause. A CD that my first grader and 3 yr old both like to listen to. And it doesn't make daddy crazy.

This is my favorite CD right now; it has been since I bought it more than a month ago. And I'm a grown-up! I love the songs by Ziggy Marley, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Raffi, and (most of all) Cathy and Marcy. All those warm fuzzies *and* your money goes to build safe and enriching play spaces in shelters for homeless families.

We got this CD as a gift for my 2 1/2 year old and now buy it to share with all his friends. The music is so upbeat, and the variety keeps you singing through the whole CD. Even my newborn loves it! And the plus is that proceeds go to Bright Horizons so you feel good suppoting it, too. Highly recommended for everyone with young kids.

My sister works with Bright Horizons and bought this CD for my 2 year old son. The first time we listened to it he danced or swayed to every song, he couldn't resist the beat! The first track on the CD is the theme song from the PBS show "Arthur" which he is familiar with and that sort of brings you in. From there the music speaks for itself. It's fun, and upbeat with a few beautiful and quiet melodies. There isn't a song we don't enjoy, in fact the only problem is that we often have to listen to the same ones over and over again! He loves it and I do too. You won't go wrong with this CD and it benefits a great cause too!
