4.0 out of 5 stars This is an enchanting read., February 8, 2009
Bright Star is the perfect vixen character. But vixen really doesn't do her justice. She is strong, fierce, and lovingly psychotic! She is the beginning and the end of the story. Her fate seems to be in the hands of the one she loves.

Jacob Rush. At first reading I thought he was the brute, but as I was drawn into the story deeper, I realized that his dark-emo appearance was very misleading. He has lived his life in the shadow of his younger brother, Jackson Rush. Both are attracted to Bright Star but in different ways, which is descriptively played out in the chapters.

This story gives all new point of view to reincarnation. Obsessive lust can carry over from one life into the next, even for the Gods themselves. The twists in the story will keep you in suspense till the very end.

My imagination danced as the story ended. Bright Star is soundly written and entrancing. I was most fascinated by the powers the characters held, each different but uniquely refreshing from the banal talents that you find in movies and TV shows of today. This is an enchanting read.
