Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The award winning Around We Go Activity Station is the only product of its kind designed to grow with baby through the toddler years. Featuring an innovative seat that rotates 360 degrees around the table top, this entertainer gives babies full access to all toys and activities. As baby grows, the seat easily removes and the play table can be used by toddlers. The electronic piano has 3 different modes of play. Baby can use the flip book to activate fun melodies, piano keys, and silly sounds. There is an action/reaction station with fun toys for baby including a bead chaser and popping, spinning, and sliding characters. Additional toys include a frog popper with swirling beads, spinning character ball, and large mirror for self discovery. The bendable and teethable bug stalk toys are great for attaching additional toys. This is the perfect entertainer for both baby and toddler.

When shopping for an exersaucer, I came across the Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Station. I read all the reviews thoroughly before purchasing this one, and it has turned out to be one of the best investments we've made. My daughter was 5.5 mo when I was looking for something that my daughter can be in vertically after feeding to minimize spit ups and to also allow me to grab something quick to eat. This exersaucer has accomplished both and much more! My daughter is very active with her legs and does not like to be confined to car seat, high chair, glider, swing, but she absolutely loves this unit and wants to be in it even 1.5 mo later.

Here's what we like about the unit:

1. We like the fact that the baby can "walk around" the activity center so she doesn't feel like she's restricted and confined. I think this bit of freedom and control is what keeps her wanting to go in.
2. Unlike the traditional exersaucer where the child just sits in the middle and rotates or bounces up and down which makes really loud and annoying noises because of the plastic tubes, the Bright Starts is more quiet with just the sound of the wheels. The wheels move very smoothly on the tile floor.
3. The keyboard with the 3 categories of sounds (silly sound, short musical tune and piano key) is really great so the baby does not get bored. You have to flip the pages, but the baby eventually gets it and will flip the pages on their own. This makes it more versatile than the other exersaucers I've seen.
4. My baby is teething, so the two butterfly-looking thing are great for her to chew on (though the short one is a little more difficult for her to reach, but the tall one you can bend).

We bought this when our son was 4 months old. He loved it from the beginning. At first he couldn't even touch the ground with his feet but this only made him work harder to build his arm and core strength. He slowly started using the activities and now he goes around and around laughing the whole time. I love the fact that he is not stuck in the middle only able to stand and turn. Lastly, I feel that it was a great buy as it will grow with him. He is now walking and I am about to take the seat off so he can use it in a new way. Money well spent.

I bought this for my four month old. She is too small to use it as a walker, but she loves batting at the toys. She hates the seat. There is not any cushioning within the seat and there are a few areas where the plastic digs into her back. I have to put a blanket around her just to protect her from the bulging plastic.
UPDATE: So, my daughter is seven months now. She still loves this saucer, but I ended up buying some batting to give her a little more cushion. She walks around just fine, but the rubber "feet" that keep the saucer steady come off very easily when we move the saucer and we have to be sure to put them back on before we put her in or else she wont be able to walk around as easily.

Perfect sitting-option for babies who can't sit up yet! A great baby work-out! They use their upper-body to reach, lower-body to move forward, resulting in the strengthening of their core musculature.

For babies 4 months and older (do not leave them unattended!), lets baby strengthen his/her back and hold their heads up while learning to reach. For the younger babies, we fold a blanket behind baby to secure them in seat and put a pillow under their feet so their feet touch a surface. Start with 2-3 minutes and gradually add more minutes as baby grows. Ditch the blanket and pillow as baby matures, and he/she will self-propell the seat around the activity station. This is basically a walker that is tethered to an activity station.

We could use two of these! We rotate it's use for my two grandsons--5 months and 7 months--as wells as my great-niece who is 9 months. It is not intended to be a babysitter.

My son was using this from when he was around 4 months old until around 9 months. He liked the different variations of toys that are on the table. The last 2 months or so of him having this, he would run around the table chasing my husband and i - it was absolutely adorable!

That said, this thing is pretty large, especially if you want to give your child the ability to go all the way around (you need a lot of space for it). We have a small living room and found it a little annoying to keep moving the coffee table over so our son would have room.

The seat portion does come out leaving just the table which is great except that the table is very wobbely so my son (now 10 months old) constantly pushes it over. Maybe when he's a little older.

Bottom line, it's great if you have a lot of space, but if you don't, then a regular exersaucer may be a better solution.

My son is about 17 Weeks Old, but very big, around 26.5 inches and he can begin to "walk" with the help of this toy! He loves to stand up and hates to be lying down any more, so this toy is perfect for when he wants to be active. At his height, he is just about able to stand with flat feet, but because he is still a bit wobbly, we do cushion him in the back of the seat.

My older daughter had a stationary type excersaucer but she was in the center and could only rotate within the toy to reach the toys, I really like that this one gives him a large radius of about 4 feet that he can really move. The seat spins too, so he can turn and look 360 degrees.

It is definitely easier to use on hard wood floors. We had an area rug with low pile, but it made it hard for him to move easily. We removed the area rug and now it moves much easier on the bare wood floors.

My son has been using this for a few weeks now, and I can tell that it will be one of the best investments we have made. I have a $200 swing, that he hates, a floor activity mat also by bright starts, that he does like, but only for short periods of time for tummy time. This is the only activity that we can put him in for about 20 minutes or so that keeps his attention, and I can try to eat a little dinner before I breastfeed.

TIPS FOR BUYING AT THE BEST PRICE: $86 shipped
I researched the cost of this toy and all of the online and local brick and mortar stores and I found that the best price shipped, was to buy at BED BATH AND BEYOND or BUYBUYBABY and have it shipped. If you go to either store physically, you can use either BBB coupon and get 20% off the price.
