I read reviews before buying this product so I knew what I was getting. Things I like - reclines slightly more than other bouncers, so it's especially good for newborns and sleeping babies, it's very springy so that it bounces when baby kicks unlike some other bouncers, vibration shuts off after 30 min., music isn't annoying, washable cover, my baby likes the toys and even the pattern on the bar, the bar is easy to remove and unlike other reviews I don't think too easy. Things I don't like - sometimes the base disconnects when I pick it up to move (It's secure when baby is in it), the music is only on 5 min. (that might not be bad sometimes though), the turtle mirror toy is a little big for the toy bar. I would recommend this product as well worth price paid.

I decided to get a bouncer because my son had begun to get fussy laying in his bassinet all day and holding him became a little tiresome on the arms. So my search began.

I read the reviews for this bouncer and at first I was a little weary to purchase it. However, for the price and being a single mother, I decided that I would try it anyway, it can't be as bad as people make it out to be.

Boy am I glad I did!

My son at a month and a week old loves the bouncer, which is good for me. I can put my son in his bouncer and do things around the house and he is very content. I like the music because the music isn't annoying and the level of how loud it's played can be controlled and the vibration of the soother, really keeps my son happy. My son bounces fine in it and it's not as hard for him to bounce in it as some people has said for their children.

Also it's very easy to construct (it only took me about 15-20[or less] minutes to construct) which is a bonus if your a single mom with no one to help you build things.

The only complaint I have is the turtle toy. It is quite big and if hit can hit the baby in the face, so I just removed the turtle toy from the bouncer to resolve the problem. Other then that I think it's a great bouncer, and would recommend it to other single moms.

We purchased this bouncer as a second seat to occupy our baby in the kitchen/dining area. It has worked like a charm and she loves the little mirror and toys attached to it. The toy bar is a little flimsy, but she's never ripped it off the seat. Good investment for the price.

I nannied off and on for 10 years before having my son. During that time, I made a mental list of what items were worth spending big bucks on. In my opinion, from your baby's perspective, the $100 bouncer is no nicer than this one. It does the job just fine, is durable, and not over-stimulating like so many of today's more expensive brands. I put it together in less than 10 minutes. I've never felt like it was going to "dump the baby out" as one reviewer mentioned. I'm not sure if they had a defective bouncer or what because I can't even imagine what they were talking about. My little guy loves this chair. I knocked off one star because the bouncer I received from Amazon did not come with the music function listed in the product description. Although I feel less is more in the world of baby toys (and actually am happier that it lacked music), I didn't appreciate the false advertising.

I have two bouncers-- the Rainforest one and this one. The other one become boring after a short time and you have to have working batteries installed in it for the toys to work. The way the bar is made on this bouncer allows me to change the toys around. I never even put batteries in, but my daughter will still sit in this bouncer and be happily occupied while I take a shower in the morning.

The seat itself is easy to assemble and the colors and dangling toys are attractive to an infant. The toybar is not safely secured to the seat. The directions say "one hand release" and I think they mean the infant can release it because it does not snap in or fit tightly.

Let me start off by saying my newborn hates this. She cries whenever we put her in it. Maybe in a few months, she'll adapt. This is our second bouncer. Our first wore out after two kids.

I don't blame the bouncer. It's just the way our daughter is.

Installation was OK. The product is OK. It vibrates and plays music within a frequency response of, I would guess, 10KHz-15KHz. Kind of like Alvin and the Chipmunks range. If you're looking for a bouncer, this works and I don't see any point in paying more than $20. You'll get diminished returns.

First the good- my baby loves his bouncy seat and it can calm him like nothing else. My major gripe about this product is that the indentation for his bottom seems too high causing him to slump to the bottom unless he is strapped in. If I just want to put him down while he is sleeping (he sleeps better sitting up) then clasping him in is inconvenient and usually ends up waking him up. When he is strapped in, he kind of "dangles" from the harness. He doesn't seem to mind, but there isn't anything outstanding about this product so I would say if you're looking for the cream of the crop, this isn't it, on the other hand it isn't bad for the price.

We bought this for our son when he was a few weeks old. At first, he did seem so small in it and he didn't really pay much attention to the bar. He's 3 months old now and he has been loving his bouncy seat now for a while. He hits the toys hanging from the bars and he is able to make his seat "bounce" when he kicks his legs. I don't know how much longer he will be able to use his bouncy seat because he is getting big. I will have to find something to replace this, it's going to be hard!!

I bought this for my 3 month old daughter and she loves it. Her favorite toy is the turtle and she really tries to grab at everything now. I only suggest using 1-2 toys at a time because otherwise it is too much. The fact that it cradles the baby is awesome too. I was worried that my daughter, who has to be sitting up most of the time to be happy, wouldn't like it. It has proved to be a great place for her. I'd recommend it to anyone and the price is the BEST!
