Before we set up Brighter Marketing, we worked in senior sales and marketing roles in a range of businessto-business (B2B) companies, some large, some small. These companies had one thing in common: much of their success was due to effective marketing that had to deliver results. Working in high-pressure environments meant we had to devise marketing campaigns that worked and delivered high-quality sales leads on a regular basis. And, for a number of years, that's what we both did - we set up marketing systems that provided consistent enquiries that ultimately led to sales revenue.

We have been in your situation. We have had our backs against the wall and had to create effective marketing programmes. We have felt the pressure, we understand what it's like. But we also know it doesn't have to be like that. Time has been a great teacher for both of us and, if we had only known then what we know now, perhaps we wouldn't have needed that towel to continually wipe the sweat from our brow.

I am Joanne Morley,co-director of Brighter Marketing Ltd and together with Siobhan Lees we have authored The Brighter Marketing Bible a great book full of practical marketing ideas and techniques. I am a marketing expert and focus on helping organisations achieve more from their marketing working with Siobhan Lees my co-director, we can definitely help you unlock your marketing potential.

I have run Brighter Marketing for the past seven years, but before that I worked as a senior level marketer in a range of technology companies as well as Tesco.com. I have experienced the total range of marketing activities from advertising through to exhibitions, direct mail and much more.

Writing the Brighter Marketing Bible has enabled me to write down all the tips, marketing insider secrets and useful marketing information I have gathered over the years. It's not until you sit down to write a book that you realise how much marketing information you hold in you head that is of real use to other organisations.

My least favourite thing about having a business is marketing - I find it a total chore, and I'm often lost as to what i should be doing and why. The Brighter Marketing Bible makes it easy - it's step by step, specific, easy to understand and most importantly (for me) written in a very human style.

I have enjoyed reading this book far more than I expected to, and the exercises have been really useful - it's a very welcome addition to my groaning bookshelves!

I liked this book very much. The style is straightforward and easy to understand. It's an ideal book to read either from beginning to end or to dip into relevant chapters as necessary.
There are plenty of ways to improve your marketing, some I knew already but was pleased to be reminded of them, and others which stimulated some new thinking for me.
It is full of useful information, if you want a book which gives you all the essentials of marketing. All you need to do after reading it is to take action on the ideas and make a difference to your business!
