This is our brightest MR 11 bulb. It has 1 high-powered CREE led bulbs. 2-pin styles with 4mm pin spacing replace the super hot "standard" G4 and MR11 mini-reflector style halogen bulbs, commonly used in many boats and RVs; note, check for base clearance on MR11. LED bulbs are compatible with all types of magnetic transformers but not all electronic transformers. Many electronic transformers require a minimum load which is greater than that provided by LED bulbs. LED bulbs will usually not work properly (no light output, flickering, and strobing) in fixtures that have integral electronic transformers in each fixture. We recommend changing the power LED power supply which can be purchase in our website. In addition, many standard Track Light power supplies will produce voltages as high as 16 with little or no load (LED bulbs provide little load). You must make sure that the voltage of your existing power supply does not exceed 14 Volts with the LED bulbs installed.

This unit failed within the first 10 hours of use. I contacted the supplier regarding my application and they stated I was using it properly. I was under the impression they were going to replace the bulb; however, after multiple weeks and multiple emails the bulb was not replaced, and email are no longer responded to. I would NOT purchase either this bulb or purchase any bulb from this vendor.... LED Wholesalers.

If I ever receive a replacement from the vendor, and it functions for a reasonable length of time, I will revise this review.

I purchased this bulb thinking it would last much longer than regular bulbs. Lasted only 3.5 months and went dead. Used on interior fountain light so it was not exposed to outdoor elements. Put into use on 4/30/10, went dead 8/21/10. Bought this item at same time and still working. I would purchase this one instead:

I purchased 2 of the white bulbs in May 2010 and 6 of the warm white in August 2010 due to being satisfied with the performance of the 2 white bulbs. I used these as outdoor soffit lighting due to replacing incandescent lights every few hours of use because of burnout. The lights are covered from rain, but still exposed to the outdoor elements.

I prefer the white light due to the brighter and whiter light. The 2 white lights purchased are still working like new.

The warm white lights purchased in August are as follows: One light flickered right out of the box and still flickers to the day of writing this review, the other 5 worked as should out of the box. I noticed one just burned out, a little over a year after purchase. The other 5 are still working as new (including the flickering light).
