prime late 80's NYHC,
By Self Induced (Drexel Hill, PA) - See all my reviews

when I think of the late 1980's NY Hardcore scene, I think of classic albums like Sick Of It All "Blood, Sweat, & No Tears", Agnostic Front "live at CBGB's", and especially Killing Time "Brightside". not only is this a great album by itself, but Victory records re-issued this album a few years ago with a ton of bonus tracks including the "Happy Hour" e.p. and the original Raw Deal demo recordings making this an incredible slab of prime classic NYHC.

WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT,
By Jay (Cleveland) - See all my reviews

This CD is what coming up in the 80's and early 90's was all about. Check this CD out for killer original hardcore. Personal favorite is "telltale".

Raw Deal,
By Adam Cummins (Vienna, VA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Brightside (Audio CD)
I saw Killing Time in the late 80s when they opened up for Sick of it All and they were still called 'Raw Deal'. Make no mistake, there is no 'raw deal' with them, regardless of the name. Great, classic moshpit HC from back in the day. This album includes all of the songs I saw them play as well as several others. 'Wall of Hate', 'Fools Die' both are great representations of the entire album.
