4.0 out of 5 stars Great book - couldn't put it down - very entertaining, October 21, 2001

It is a little sappy that there are so many references to God but the story is still highly readable. It is exciting and entertaining. I've read this title four times already. It is a book for any age. Brill and Segra's romance is very sweet and ties in with the story nicely. I loved Brill and the Dragators.

I have read this book to my classes of 4 to 6th grade students for many years. It is out of print, but if yoou can get a copy used- do so- you will not be dissapointed. Fun, adventerous, exciting- yet no adult stuff for kids to worry about. A real 5 star book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very good book., September 16, 1998

This review is from: Brill and the Dragators (Exitorn Adventures) (Paperback)
This is a book for younger children, and that's the only reason I give it four stars instead of five. I loved it when I first read it, and since then read the series so many times I nearly memorized it. Not the best in the world, but still reccomendable. Brill, a young, 12-year-old boy, is taken from his home to be companion to a stingy prince. He meets the daring Segra, who wants to restore the rightful king to the throne. The only fear Brill has is being thrown into the moat--to be devoured by man-eating dragators (half dragon, half alligator). In his experience, Brill learns to trust God and remember that He is always with him. Very reccomendable.
