This prong-set diamond bracelet is subtle in its size, but glamorous in its appearance. Consisting of mulitple round-cut diamonds, protectively separated by 14k gold bars and individual 14k white gold settings, the bracelet is slim and flexible around the wrist. The sparkle of the white diamonds against the shiny finish of the gold makes the entire 3 carat total weight bracelet gleam and reflect light with every movement. The box clasp has a safety latch to ensure that the bracelet wont fall off. This is a piece that can dress up jeans and a button-front shirt or simply accent a nice evening wear.
The diamonds have great brilliance and sparkle. Unlike the promotional quality offered by many retailers, which often have visible inclusions and opaque or yellow-brown color, these diamonds are near colorless, with a minimum color rating of I, and appear white to the eye. They have a clarity rating of at least I1, meaning there are small inclusions that are difficult to see with the unaided eye. Set in mountings, the diamonds appear clean.
The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds, characteristics which determine their brilliance, are fair to good. Most of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special appeal. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamonds total width, is 50-71%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 56.5-67%. Optimal table and depth percentages maximize a diamonds ability to reflect and refract light, but they also require a great deal of the diamond to be cut away, leaving less carat weight. While the table and depth percentages here span a broader range than those of higher quality diamonds, they still allow the diamond to handle the light well, and they have the advantage of providing the largest size of diamond for the value.
