"Brilliant Disguise" is a great Springsteen hit from this era, which is why it pains me to point out the one glaring flaw in the lyrics. That is the line "in the wee wee hours, maybe baby the gypsy lied." "The wee wee hours?" Sounds like a kid who needs to use the bathroom! Surely a great songrwriter like Bruce could have filled up the syllables a little better than that? But anyway, the rest of the song is very good.
