Buy it!! This is a great album! He shows a big songwriting talent and his voice is amazing! This is a album that any age group will like! I like it my 19 year old brother likes it and my father! When me and my friends have a nite at my place the first thing they do is ask me to put on the album! Included is his duet with the legend Robin Gibb! Even Gibb likes him! Buy it and enjoy! He is a true star!!

I watched all the fame academy episodes, and I have to say I thought none of the contestants had a really good voice. Alistair had his good days, but he wasn't great. His song-writing however was very impressive, and so I wanted to have his cd anyway. And he didn't disappoint me.
On the album his voice sounds really nice, and there are some really great ballads on the album. The only song I always skip is "My lover's prayer", I just can't stand that song. My fave songs on the album are "Oblivious" and "You and me". I do think there are to many covers on the album.

Alistair is an awesome artist! He provides such a variety of music. He is more than a one trick guy. Unless/Until he goes to the states (Which he says he might)the CD won't get any cheaper. So support him so he will come to the states. You won't regret it in the least. His talent needs to be shared with the rest of America and not the selected few stationed or visiting in England.

Alistair is a great artist. My dad is in the military and he got stationed to England. We moved just in time to catch the last few episodes of Fame Academy, in which Alistair came in second. Even though I bought this CD in pounds it cost about the same but the CD is well worth it. Alistair wrote or co-wrote all the songs but 4 on this album. Alistair is a great guy having recently met him after a show he did at the Newmarket Racecourses July 16. So in my opinion he is very hot. (Ecspecially in person and he seemed to be great with younger kids since my little sister was there with me also.) So you'd be buying a CD in which the singer has a great voice, is good-looking, and a great guy. (What a package!) Overall, he is a GREAT artist with a variety of music that many of people of different ages can enjoy. (There were elderly women getting his autograph and singing along just as much as I was at the racecourses.) So buy the CD, you know you want to.
