Clay Aiken was blessed with a beautiful voice--the tone, the pitch, the execution of this song is perfect. No hint of autotune anywhere because as his producers once said, Clay doesn't need help. This is an outstanding ballad with Clay's voice not being overshadowed by background music as happens with many. The song a throwback to when singers could really sing and didn't rely on costumes, extra dancers, and on-stage antics for attention.
