Biography

Southern rapper T.I. was dropped by his label after debut album I'm Serious (2001) only sold 270,000 copies. In response he set up his own label - Grand Hustle Records - and taught his old bosses a lesson about artist loyalty, generating millions of sales and becoming one of the biggest names in hip-hop.

T.I. released his second album Trap Muzik in 2003. It was much more successful than I'm SeriousRead more in Amazon's T.I. Store

2.0 out of 5 stars not really feelin' this... (2.5 Stars), March 25, 2005
This review is from: Bring Em Out (Audio CD)
T.I. is a pretty decent rapper, one of the best mainstream emcees from ATL, but I'm not really feelin' Bring Em Out. The beat done by Swiss Beats is too bouncy for my liking, and while it's probably fine for the clubs, it doesn't really do T.I.'s skills any justice. Anyone who says this is really hot is either a) not a true hip-hop head or b) from Atlanta. The second single You Don't Know Me is superior to this one, I'm just not feelin' Bring Em Out.
