5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for those who like funky house...
First off, I have to respond to the first review of this album. Chuck Love does his own vocals, instead of bringing someone in... SO since he is a guy, his songs are heavy on male vocals. That said, for those into funky house with deep melodies and mostly uplifting lyrics that convey a need to party, then this is a disc you should own. Personal favorites on the album are:...

3.0 out of 5 stars Chuck Love - Bring Enough To Spill Some
It's difficult to argue with Chuck Love's smooth production on his first album, BRING ENOUGH TO SPILL SOME. In terms of club-ready house, you could do much worse than Love's gentle melodies and solid beats. Love brings some unexpected elements to his work (the harmonica in "Livin at Night," the Spanish guitar on "Something Right," or the horns on "Beatdown") to keep...

Personal favorites on the album are:
Livin at Night (dancefloor banger)
Bring Enough To Spill Some (a great party song)
Something Right (a smoother version than the remix found on Om Miami)
Beautiful Thang (another great party song)
Bailando (a great song with a latin feel & beautiful female vocals)
Next To You (an infectious downtempo classic)
and finally...
Soul Symphony (a beautiful house song, in the style of Kaskade's "It's Me, It's You").

The remainder of the songs are all very good in there own right, but those are the ones that stood out for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid House release by Mr. Love, August 14, 2007
This review is from: Bring Enough to Spill Some (Audio CD)
I wouldn't put it in the same category as Miguel Migs' "Those Things" but it was solid. Very funky beats. However, maybe this is just my opinion but Chuck really goes heavy on the male vocals. Especially with the likes of Fourfeet. I would have liked a little more style variety which was provided in Migs' "Those Things". Still you won't be disappointed b/c Chuck's style is what house is meant to be, groovy beats you can bob you head to. What I would recommend is to get Chuck Love's EP release of Beatdown. Troydon's Shaker Mix is an absolute dancefloor killer, one of the best house tracks I've heard in the last few years.

3.0 out of 5 stars Chuck Love - Bring Enough To Spill Some, May 16, 2011
This review is from: Bring Enough to Spill Some (Audio CD)
It's difficult to argue with Chuck Love's smooth production on his first album, BRING ENOUGH TO SPILL SOME. In terms of club-ready house, you could do much worse than Love's gentle melodies and solid beats. Love brings some unexpected elements to his work (the harmonica in "Livin at Night," the Spanish guitar on "Something Right," or the horns on "Beatdown") to keep things interesting, though his music never pretends to be something it's not. The Latin house on "Bailando" seems somewhat out of place, but it manages to avoid cheesiness. Love's collaborations with Fourfeet yields some funky tracks, particularly "Soul Symphony." When Love takes his mixing skills to the 2nd disc of remixes and extra tracks, it's seamless, as you would imagine, but perhaps suffers from too little variation in the beat. Still, "Funky-Ass-Beat" is pretty awesome, though.
