I have only read part of this book, but it is great to finally see the truth come out about Gov. Palin.
The Democrat/Left and their allies in the media, (JournoList), went all out to destroy this woman spreading lies and misinformation about her personal and professional life. My favorite Palin myth is about how she tried to "ban" books at the public library. The mythical list of "banned" books included two books which had not yet been published!
Just one example of how the Leftists and their JournoList allies twist the facts and lie to enforce their political agenda.
Dalfonzo does an excellent and detailed job of exposing the "legacy media" lies about the former Governor of Alaska.

It has been two-and-a-half years since John McCain announced that his running mate would be the largely-unknown governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin and the mainstream media, enraged that Republicans now had their own rock star--one who would compete with Barack Obama--determined to "bring her down" any way they could. This is the story of the incredible lengths to which they went to achieve that goal. They lied about her family, they lied about her views, they attacked her children in a way that no candidate's children have ever been attacked before (claiming, among other things, that two of her children were drug addicts and that Baby Trig was actually Palin's grandson). If you believe that Palin actually said "I can see Russia from my house," blame SNL's Tina Fey, who regularly mocked Palin in the weeks leading up to the election (and all the bloggers who put the sentence in Palin's mouth.

In the process of demonizing Palin, mainline reporters who, when it came to Barack Obama, collectively felt a thrill going up their legs (as Chris Matthews put it) neglected the disturbing stories coming out about their dream candidate: his racist, foul-mouthed pastor, his association with shady Chicago characters, and his deep involvement with ACORN, a group known for engaging in voter fraud.

As Delfonzo notes, according to a report from the Culture and Media Institute, in October of 2008, ABC, NBC and CBS news shows were running 18 negative stories on Palin for every positive one. "Was it truly the candidate's flaws that brought out reporters' bloodlust, and they would have us believe--or was it something in themselves and their own worldview?" Delfonzo asks. This book answers that question.

As Mark Twain said, if you don't read the newspaper you're uninformed, and if you do, you're misinformed. This book is an indictment of the lamestream media. Will the book receive the attention it deserves? Of course not.

I find it very depressing how the media runs with a "cause" and destroys the character of a person it has "deemed" unacceptable.

I admire & respect Sarah Palin, & was dismayed by the way the mainstream media portrayed her. Some friends still dismiss her, which is a pity..
