5.0 out of 5 stars Vickie Does NOT Hold Back!
Vickie Winans' Bringing it All Together is off the CHAIN! I can't take it out of my CD player. NO REALLY, I think it's stuck in there!! Just kidding.

This album has something for everyone. The old traditional Vickie is there in 'We Need a Word from the Lord' with her inspiring testimony incorporated therein which declares 'your latter will be greater than your past!'...

Vickie Winans' Bringing it All Together is off the CHAIN! I can't take it out of my CD player. NO REALLY, I think it's stuck in there!! Just kidding.

This album has something for everyone. The old traditional Vickie is there in 'We Need a Word from the Lord' with her inspiring testimony incorporated therein which declares 'your latter will be greater than your past!' and the inspirational JESUS and Shake Yourself Loose.

Then there's Vickie's contemporary cuts 'Amazing Grace Dance' featuring 12 yr old Aaron Fuller and the Remix to Shake Yourself Loose featuring the production skills of her 1st born son, Mario Yellowman Winans.

Her music is kickin, but the messages in her song pertaining to who Jesus really is (Track 17) is very very very clear. I get chills just hearing how the choir/crowd calls JESUS on this track. Anyway, get this album. If you don't like all the tracks when you first hear it...keep listening...you will!

This album went to #1 on the Billboard Gospel Charts and sold over 10K units in its first week of release. We're praying for Vickie's ministry and her strength.

Oh by the way, she BE dancing in those videos huh!? She is looking really good too :)

Keep lifting that great name of Jesus up Vickie. We love you here at Reaching Records and praise God you were able to appear on our project A Woman's Journey a couple of years back.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kids need Jesus too, July 20, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Bringing It All Together (Audio CD)
This cd is a good CD. No it's not like her previous cds. It is mainly for the children. Children need God especially right now with the children these days. She speaks about things that children probably are questioning. They need this cd. If you've got a little rascal running around the house giving you grey hairs, get this cd. It ministers to the children. That doesn't mean the adults shouldn't listen to the cd though. Their are some good songs on there for ya'll too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Something Different....Something New, July 1, 2003
This review is from: Bringing It All Together (Audio CD)
The title of this cd explains it all. There are songs for babies, children, teens, and adults. This recording has something that everyone can relate to and enjoy. From adoration to God, to abstinence, it covers a variety of topics. Now, if you're used to the traditional Vickie, this album is definately not for you. But if you're willing to broaden your horizons, check it out. If you're a parent, this is one you wouldn't mind being in your child's cd player. If you're not, this is one you wouldn't mind being in your cd player. Now, "Shake Loose," and go pick it up. :)

Vickie I love all your music. Your music is like getting a big hug on Sunday morning. You are so wonderful. Congratulations on your 20th year in gospel industry. May God continue to bless you, your marriage, and your family. And remember each and everything you do for christ, will last. Bringing it all Together is a awesome, magnificent, brilliant cd. 4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Album, December 2, 2005

I actually liked this album. Vickie is mostly known for her traditional songs, but with 'Bringing It All Together' she aims to connect with a younger audience. This album is filled with joyful, uplifting songs for the young and young at heart. Who wants to hear an artist that follows the same formula with each album and never tries anything new?? Not me!! I applaud Vickie for trying something out of the box and making it hott and fresh!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM

WOW!!!!! I REALLY ENJOYED THIS ALBUM. IT IS A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT SOUND FOR VICKIE THAN HER LAST TWO ALBUMS BUT I LOVED IT. IT MADE YOU WANT TO GROOVE, BUT THE ANOINTING WAS STILL THERE. "SHAKE YOURSELF LOOSE", COMMANDS US TO SHAKE OFF ANY BONDAGES THAT ARE HOLD IN US, WHAT A SONG. "SUPRERMAN", TESTIFIES OF THE ASSURANCE THAT GOD WILL ALWAYS BE THERE IN THE NICK OF TIME. "SHOOK"(#3) IS ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVORITES. IT HAS A URBAN BEAT W/ A FANTASTIC MESSAGE. IT TELLS HOW VICKIE WINANS GOT SHOOK WHEN SHE TOOK A LOOK INTO THE BOOK(THE BIBLE). THIS ALBUM REALLY HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. I REALLY BELIEVE THIS IS GRAMMY MATERIAL. THIS IS A WOMAN AT 5O THAT CAN HOLD IT DOWN W/ MARY MARY OR YOLANDA ADAMS. IF YOU LOVE GOSPEL MUSIC W/ A LITTLE FLAVA AND THE ANOINTING, THIS IS DEFINETLY THE ALBUM 4 U. SO GO GET IT AND GET YOUR HANDS UP. GOD BLESS.

This is the most energetic album from Sis. Vickie Winans ever. There is something for everyone in your family. If you like to jam "Shake Yourself Loose, Shook, Amazing Grace Dance". For the children "Happy and you know it, Kids Love Jesus Too" And for good, down home worship "We need a Word From the Lord, J.E.S.U.S." And she even tells us about commint our lives to God regarding abstaining "I Promise".

This album is a JOY to listen too.
God Bless you Sis. Winans
