Good Lord! I'm the first to review this album? This is one of the masterpieces of western popular music -- an album that hit like a bombshell and effected the culture of the 1960s. Dylan was like a comet, a freight train, a semi barreling down a lonely night highway. We were all caught in his wake as he articulated things we vaguely felt. He was a startling talent, a monumental singer, guitar player and, especially, a Shakespeare of song. He was the Bard of our time, we 'Boomers'. This album, transitional from the folkie days into the power of rock, was played a million times as the soundtrack of our lives. Every other song is a brilliant milestone; the rest are merely better than most artists ever achieve. If you haven't heard this album, GET IT!
