Who Are We Being When We Mediate,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bringing Peace Into the Room: How the Personal Qualities of the Mediator Impact the Process of Conflict Resolution (Hardcover)
Very few books focus on the inner dimensions of conflict resolution -- our mental, emotional, even spiritual state as we work in rooms filled with fear, anger, confusion, and despair. "Bringing Peace Into the Room" is a well-written exploration of the internal qualities we must cultivate as conflict resolution professionals. I interviewed one of the authors while writing my own book on the topic and it continues to be one among a few books on my shelf that I reference regularly.Larry Dressler, Author Standing in the Fire: Leading High-Heat Meetings with Clarity, Calm, and Courage |
