As I was installing these lights I absentmindedly pushed one of the lights into the ground using the top of the fixture, breaking the globe and rendering it useless. I haven't tried contacting this seller, but I couldn't find a replacement online anywhere. This doesn't affect the rest of the string though; it just means there is one less light in the set. The rest of them still work fine and there isn't a gap in the string because you just don't hook that one up. No one will know it's missing.
Summing it up:
Good set, just be careful.......the globes ARE breakable!

These lights for the money will blow you away. They are elegant, bright and use very little power (0.5w each). They come with a 20 watt transformer which can power up to 4 sets. Connectors are screw type and allow lamp spacing of about 10 feet. As others have said, you have to be careful when putting them into the ground as they are quite fragile but this shouldn't detract anyone from buying them. Great purchase!

I bought my first set from a local overstock store. They were said to have been discontinued from Wal-Mart. I paid considerably less than this price, and also purchased two additional lights. I'm waiting for my gentleman friend to get home and then I'm going to purchase another set.

I've had mine for over a year. The only problem I've had was this year; we've had a cold winter mixed with a lot of rain (North FL). I don't know what made the lights quit working, as it suggests to bury the cables (I never did, covered them with leaves, etc.) I fiddled with the transformer a few times, and one day they just started operating correctly again.

I'm happy to find Brinkmann is still making them. My sister-in-law has been envious and will be thrilled when I tell her she can get them at Amazon.

This lights are bright, easy to set up, I only installed 5 lights around the pond (see picture). They light up the area just right.

Really liked the lights....The "plug in" capability for each light was a really nice feature....It makes troubleshooting the system a lot easier if there is a lighting problem such as a shorted out light.
However, these lights are not for anyone that is going to mess with them. (children or grandchildren for instance)...They are very fragile and any excessive pushing on their stems, or accidentlystriking them with something, will damage them....The stems are made of light metal, and the pointed ends are a little short...They really don't go into the stems far enough, and if you try to push too hard on the stem, they WILL bend the end of the stem....
If you are a little handy, you can find ways to fix this situation, as they really are nice lights...This delicate feature may be why Wal Mart had discontinued selling them...I'm sure a lot of people returned them once they were bent....
But ten lights for 50 dollars can't be beat.

These have a sensor and come on at dusk and go off at dawn. Place them along the path, connect and hide the wires, mount the sensor, plug them in and sit back and enjoy. I got rid of my solar lights, that only lasted about five hours, after getting these.

Easiest to install of Amy of the LED light sets that I have purchased. As someone else mentioned:be sure not to push down from the top when placing in the ground as the light will break.

I just hooked these up...one of the clear upside down domes is broken in the box. The stainless steel tops just sit on. They need epoxied or something to stay. The plastic stxke that goes in the bottom presses in; however, when you need to move the light the plastic piece stays in the ground. I was so excited when I ordered these but, now I am very dissappointed.

My first impression of these lights was less than good. After careful installation, I found these lights are excellent and a nice addition to the hedges in front of my Aunt's home. A note of caution, donot force these lights into the ground when setting up. Be gentle with them and you will enjoy for a long time to come. I had to replace one and I got very good response from Brinkman Inc.

I got tired of using solar powered lights in the front walk way. Effectiveness of either the battery or the solar panel degrades over time to render the solar powered walkway lights useless. Installing these lights were simple. Easy to assemble, install and turn on. The lights are bright and the best feature is that it has a light sensor which comes with this unit that automatically turns off the lights when the sun comes up, so I just have these lights plugged in all the time. The only thing I would improve, and I would be willing to pay a little more for it, is if the units were a little bit sturdier. It's winter so our gardners are not mowing the lawn nor blowing the leaves, but I wonder how well these lights will withstand the abuse that will come from the lawn care guys in the spring. So far these are the best and the most cost effective walkway lights I could find.
