No batteries needed
This toy will last through generations. If encourages problem solving, creative thinking, and hours of fun. It can be added to over time and is appropriate for children in a wide age range. Love these Brio train sets!

Love Brio,but....
Our family loves Brio. My husband has a huge collection form his youth. So when my 2 year old asked for a train for Christmas, we thought we would get him this starter track to later combine with my husband's set. Beware, while this set seems cute, there is one, seemingly unneeded detail: there is a dog "accident" on the track. I read it on the box and could not...

Our family loves Brio. My husband has a huge collection form his youth. So when my 2 year old asked for a train for Christmas, we thought we would get him this starter track to later combine with my husband's set. Beware, while this set seems cute, there is one, seemingly unneeded detail: there is a dog "accident" on the track. I read it on the box and could not believe it. So I openned it and yes, there is an artist rendering of dog poop on the tracks. Needless to say, we will be sanding that off before giving it to our 2-year old. Gross.
