Editorial Review
"Fun Fact: BRIO produces nine million pieces of straight and curved railway track each year... roughly enough track to stretch from Chicago to New York." Here are four pieces of that impressive real estate: not much in terms of length, maybe, but oh boy, are they handy. These little (under 5 inches) Y-shaped curves can scoot your train out of the way of an approaching locomotive--or send it chugging off to Timbuktu. Used singly, they work as track dividers; hooked together, they can form a variety of intricate curves. Left and right tracking options are grooved into each kiln-dried hardwood piece. Two of the switches have pegs at the double end and holes at the single; the other two are exactly the opposite, so as to maximize railway workers' traffic-control options.
