This review is from: Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System (Tools & Hardware)
This device works as advertised and was very easy to hook up. It comes with a couple of different faucet adapters so whether the threads of your current faucet are inside or outside, there should be an adapter to handle it. The green light to indicate that the filter is still good is especially nice. My only complaint is that the flow if decreased by about 60-70% when using the filter so it takes a while to fill up anything larger than a drinking glass. Other than that, great product.

...and it's just now time to change it out for a new one. I LOVE this filter! The water is crisp and clean right out of the faucet. And since it's disposable, I don't have to switch out a new $20 filter every few months! This thing works like a dream - never leaked once, and you can move the filter around when you need to rinse the sink out! I highly recommend this fabulous product!

This review is from: Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System (Tools & Hardware)
I bought one 5 months ago and it fit right on my kitchen faucet. I did not need to use the rings/rubber supplements that come with it as my kitchen faucet had rings on the outside and the filter was easily screwed over it. It works just fine as far as the filtration of water is concerned. The water tastes better than most other kinds of filters we have used and the green indicator light works fine, even the toggle between filtered and non filtered water is good. The only and the worst drawback is that the part that screws over the faucet is made of plastic and its rings become flat overtime and mine broke a month ago and I had to buy a new one. The new one seems to be working fine for now but I know that its plastic is wearing out and will break. I might try other kinds of filters this time.
UPDATE ON THE ABOVE EXPERIENCE I bought another of these filters, was able to screw it over the faucet and it worked alright for about three months but then the indicator light turned red (keeps blinking), thus warranting replacement. I have not been able to talk to BRITA customer service yet. I will not make the same mistake twice, er thrice.
