5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Booster Seat
This is an excellent booster seat by Britax. A booster seat that is meant to be used with the shoulder/lap belt as all booster seats are designed to do. A note to other reviewers and anyone else reading this review. A booster seat cannot have the LATCH system or an anchoring/tethering system. 3.0 out of 5 stars Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat
Britax is a favorite brand car seat in our family. However, the seat belt twists with this booster and the side head rests styrofoam has cracked on two of our seats. I'd like to see a better cup holder on the boosters, but all brands seem to have the same type.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Booster Seat, April 4, 2006

This is an excellent booster seat by Britax. A booster seat that is meant to be used with the shoulder/lap belt as all booster seats are designed to do. A note to other reviewers and anyone else reading this review. A booster seat cannot have the LATCH system or an anchoring/tethering system. None of the booster seats should be used in this manner as it is UNSAFE. If you own a covertible carseat - a carseat that has the safety harness in the seat that is used up to a certain weight and can be removed and then used as a booster seat as they get older - your manual will specifically tell you NOT to use the tether/anchor system when this is done. PLEASE read your manuals on your individual carseats. A booster seat is meant to "boost" your child up so that the seatbelt safely crosses their shoulder & lap areas. I always found that waiting until the 40lb mark as usually recommended was always the best time to change over to a booster seat. This is an excellent booster seat from Britax with many safety features.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Booster is the Best!!!, October 21, 2005

I usually don't write reviews on products, but this one is just too good to pass up. I have an almost 4 year old daughter who I bought this for after getting tired of watching her little head flop around in her other booster seat when she slept. This carseat has the BEST head support ever for a booster, she LOVES her new carseat and falls asleep much better in it! Her head no longer falls foward or to the side. The size of the seat is perfect in my car, not too big or wide and the material is very comfy. I would suggest this booster to anyone in the market for one, pay the extra money and you won't be disappointed! I love Britax!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great seat!!, November 1, 2007
This review is from: Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat, Brownstone (Baby Product)
I was a little concerned that my son would not like the headrest but he loves this seat. The fabric is so soft too. I have to 2nd the statement made by the reviewer who said NO booster seat has a latch system and can ONLY be used with lap/shoulder belt systems. Read your owner's manual, it states that fact right in there. I did have a problem with the seat leaning this morning but it was because *I* did not have the seat positioned right in the car. I had it too far over towards the door where the seat bottom has a little up curve to it. I will have to be more careful of my placement. What I also love is the shoulder strap guide. I looked at other carseats and their shoulder strap guides were thin & flimsy and attached to the cloth of the seat. I think that would make it hard to get the seat belt into the guide and it's possible the guide could just pop right off the cloth of the seat. This one is thick and securly attached to the frame of the seat. This seat is replacing my Britax Marathon which I also loved and never had one single complaint about. I had 4 years of use out of that seat and now my sister-in-law will be using it for several years. I will probably end up giving the Parkway to her after she's done using my Marathon. Britax makes great seats!!!

Love the seat - our son is very comfortable in it and its a breeze to get in and out. The cupholder isn't much to speak of, but we don't plan to leave a cup in such close proximity to a four-year old anyway.

In general we have loved the Britax products we've purchased - the Marathon and Roundabout infant/toddler car seats and this booster seat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Britax really is the best!, January 12, 2008

We love this seat! We also have a Graco chair for one of our cars but this one is by far the best. The material is very plush and cushy. The head rest is the best. When my daughter falls asleep in the Graco seat her head would end up in her lap because there was no where to rest it. With the Britax this is no longer a problem. The head rest is super supportive and makes a great pillow. I cant say enough about this product. We love it. Its totally worth the extra money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!!, October 19, 2007
This review is from: Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat, Brownstone (Baby Product)
We love this booster seat!!! It exceeds US safety standards and if you compare to other brands you can feel the difference in the side impact protection, this seat is solid!! we purchased this for my husbands car and a Britax monarch for my car...this one is easier to buckle in than the Monarch, don't buy the Monarch for the armrest feature, they are too low and make it difficult to buckle. I wish I had bought 2 of these!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfy!, February 2, 2006
This review is from: Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat, Brownstone (Baby Product)
All the reviews are accurate about this booster seat. The wings at the head make it very comfy for the child and really makes a different if they fall asleep. The drink holders are not deep enough to hold a drink and could be improved upon. The only thing about the seat that surprised me was that there is no L.A.T.C.H. or anchor system. The seat just sits on your car seat and you use the lap belt.

1.0 out of 5 stars Seat moves too much during turns! Watch out!, January 10, 2006
This review is from: Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat, Brownstone (Baby Product)
I ran out to buy this seat after reading the review here and then at another website. I love Britax products! During a wide turn today, my daughter's seat leaned all the way over! I had to pull over today to make sure I had buckled my child in correctly! The belt was tight, but the seat is just too light or something! She weighs 36 lbs, well over the 30 lb mark recommended for this seat. My little girl loves the seat. Very comfy! However, I am back to the store for a sturdier seat! One other note, there is no tether included to stabilize the seat, something that other boosters have.
