Buy it!,
This review is from: Britax Preview Stroller Onyx (Baby Product)
I purchased this stroller with the Companion car seat as a travel system and I am so glad that I did. They work perfect separately and together! Not only does the car seat fit right in the stroller, they look so nice when put together, not big and clunky like other brands. This stroller works better than any I've used. It is so easy to manuever and turn around those tight corners in a department store and glides so smoothly and is very lightweight to push up those big hills at the zoo. You can't go wrong with this purchase!

Nice Stroller,

I am fairly impressed with this stroller. It has the look and feel of some of the much more expensive brands but at a very affordable price, and it seems to maneuver quite well. It is also extremely light in comparison to my evenflo aura. The storage bag is wonderful although I do miss my cup holders. The locking front wheel is a very nice option that I wish was available on more strollers. I am not overly impressed with the size of the storage pouch underneath of the seat, it seems a bit small. The three main problems I have with the stroller are; the directions to put it together are extremely vague and difficult to follow which caused it to take longer than neccessary to put together because I was forced to figure it out as I went, the unit is fairly difficult to fold and the folding mechanism seems a bit dated, and lastly the handles are at an odd and somewhat uncomfortable angle for whichever parent happens to be pushing the unit. Overall I would say that this is a good stroller and I would probably buy it again.

Fantastic Purchase! Worth every Penny!,

My husband and I bought this stroller and carseat combo over a year ago and have literally taken it around the world. It has been more than worth the money! The stroller is the perfect size for easy travel and the back reclines all the way for our daughter to sleep in. A feature We have been excited about many times! It is easy to open and close with 1 hand and fits easily in my tiny VW Jetta trunk. The sunshade is large, although it is slightly lopsided and I do kick the wheels at only 5'4". This stroller is lightweight and easily portable for someone on the go! Would highly recommend it and have to all my friends already!

Love My stroller,

We bought this stroller to go with our Britax infant car seat. With our older daughter we had a full sized stroller that was so bulky and hard to take with us. So when we found the Preview we had to have it for our younger son. WI use this stroller every day going to the park walking the dog and on outings in the city. Its easy to store lighter than a full size and just as much room for your little one. Not a lot of storage under in the basket but it does come with a diaper bad that attaches to the back of the stroller. The stroller looks nice and is easy to handle even my husband who is 6 foot likes it. You will want to get a drink caddy to attach to the handle bars but thats no big deal. Wish Britax made a double stroller I am going to have to find one soon with a new baby on the way. I would buy this stroller again in a heartbeat.

Could use some design improvements...,
This review is from: Britax Preview Stroller Onyx (Baby Product)
We bought this stroller to go with the Companion carseat (which I love), and I'm less than happy with it... yes, it does the job, but there are a couple things that drive me nuts:
-No cupholder... really this sounds small, but try pushing this and carrying your waterbottle at the same time... doesn't work! -my feet hit the wheels constantly, and gimme a break, I'm only 5'2". I feel for the longer-strided tall mommies. -The backrest has to be laid back to put in the carseat and it blocks the storage underneath. On the plus side, I love the fabric, and the bag is a nice addition. The five point harness is especially nice, with an adjustable strap between baby's legs. All in all, If I had it to do over I probably would try a different britax stroller.

I got this stroller to go with the infant car seat, so I made the mistake of not looking at the stroller in the store. I would strongly encourage you to go someplace to try it out, along with several other strollers. It is not very well-designed, and I had the following issues: 1. the main problem is that it does not turn well at all. We tried letting the front weheels turn vs. having them fixed, and either way the stroller was hard to turn/maneuver, especially with one hand (which happens when you are carrying packages in he other!). 2. The storage underneath is too small and hard to access. 3. There is no tray accessory for when your child gets older and you want to put a sippy cup or snack out. 4. Every time you open it when you attach the infant carrier, you have to put the seat down, which takes TWO HANDS - meaning, you have to remember to do this BEFORE you take the carrier out of the car, and if you forget and it's wet or raining hope that you can set it on the seat of the car! 5. It's difficult to open and close, compared with other strollers I've seen - you have to find a small latch on the side of the stroller in order to latch it shut.
Overall, I have friends with other strollers that are much better designed and I wish I'd tried some out before registering for this one.

I bought this to match the Companion car seat--which is fantastic, and I highly recommend. However, this stroller is a steering nightmare and I've finally had it. Pluses: the extra bag is nice, easy to fold (but takes two hands), compact, light, easy to travel. Cons: Front wheels get stuck, seat is uncomfortable, no tray or cup holder for mom or baby, fabric does not clean well and is not removable, and when it's folded it actually takes up a lot of space. And I have to say, I got this stroller for $75 for a discontinued color, and even when I bought it new the most I saw it for was $140. Definitely do not spend $495 for this! It's so off, I'm actually wondering if it's a mistake on the website.

I've been using this stroller for my two kids for about 3 years now. If Britax could turn some of the following minuses around, it would be a much better all-around stroller.
MINUSES: -As mentioned in other reviews, you can't push this at all with one hand. Yes, I know it has two handles, but so what? This thing only goes in a circle when you push it with one hand. This is a giant dealbreaker for me. -You absolutely need two hands to set it up. Bad when you're holding a squirming toddler. -It has too many hinges that can pinch you as you're folding or unfolding it: the main fold/unfold lever, the folding bar between the handles, and the levers that allow the seat to recline. I've gotten caught in all three, and I'm very familiar with this stroller after this long. -No cup holder! -Sunshade is attached to the back; doesn't provide enough range of shade. PLUSES: -It's not particularly light, but for how small it folds, it's pretty durable. We've taken this on many airline flights and it's still holding up very well. -We used it with a Graco Snugride infant seat in it (facing backwards). -It's not too tiny. My 4-year-old can still ride in it comfortably. -If you're handy with tools, you can remove the fabric seat covering and wash it. -The kids both like riding in it with the leg support panel locked horizontally rather than folded down (as shown in the photo) so they can have their legs stretched out in front of them. I don't question it!

fell short in steering,
This review is from: Britax Preview Stroller Onyx (Baby Product)
good points: easy fold, adjustable foot rest is wonderful, reclining, bag and basket, handle bar useful. VERY DISSAPOINTED in the poor steering. It is hard to turn.....shopping cart syndrome. Developed tendinitis of the elbows 'cause of this.
