At 1/3 the price of the similar Bugaboo Frog, the Britax Vigour stroller is tough to beat.
The wheels are large, and the front wheels have spring shock absorbers, making walks with baby on cracked sidewalks a breeze. It's very maneuverable, and rolls silky smooth. Rolls easily on grass, too, for those trips to the park. The seat is comfortably padded, can face forwards or rearwards, and has an ingenious "infinite adjustment" to tilt the seat very precisely at any angle. The 5-point harness, with two height adjustments, holds the child securely. The seat is very easy to add and remove from the stroller. There is adequate storage under the seat, with waterproof plastic on the bottom for those rainy days. The construction is impressive, and the unit is very well made. It even came with a portable air pump for the rear tires. The minor drawbacks are that the sunshade is on the small side (could have used another 6 inches of coverage), and the unit is not light. However, it's not light, because it's made out of metal instead of cheap plastic. None of these drawbacks are a big deal, and I would but it again tomorrow. It's a great stroller. It's age-rated for "6 months and up" but we put our 15lb 3-month-old in there with no problems. She loves the smooth ride, and since the shock absorbers soak up bumpy pavement, the baby sleeps uninterrupted on walks. There is also a bassinet sold in England, which could be ordered. We're very happy with this unit.

This stroller reminds me of a old Porsche I once owned. No frills, lightweight, no cup holders, but performs very well.
Pricey=yes, you did not expect all of the above at a bargain price, did you? The unit came packaged well as most Britax items that we have owned. We used this initially as a convertible car seat as the Britax Companion infant seat snaps out of the SUV and right into this unit. Everything worked great and both units attached themselves with no issues with only two simple pull levers. Once our little baby grew out of the infant seat we switched over to a Britax Marathan (highly recommend) car seat and these do not snap into strollers (due to weight and size) and we had to use the included baby seat for this stroller. This is our largest complaint as the baby seat that comes with this stroller is as simple as a cloth bucket seat. The cover has very poor sun coverage and we find ourselves often placing a towel over the top to prevent the sun from hitting our baby's face while outside. The cover just does not go up enough to do it's job unless the sun is behind the stroller. There are also no provisions for snapping on additional blankets, covers, etc to extend this protection. Now the seat can attach either front facing or rear facing which is convenient and is very lightweight. The unit also folds down with ease for easy storage or travel. While fully open we can easily pop it into the rear of a Lexus GX470 without collapsing it. SUV's or cars with shorter ceiling heights will need to collapse the unit which only takes seconds and then this unit is only 12 inches tall. The unit can also collapse with the seat attached which is convenient but and then is around 20" tall. Large oversize wheels add to the stability of the unit while adding an aggressive look to the stroller. There is a basket down below for storing a bag and is sizable enough to carry a diaper bag +whatever you need for one baby. There are no cup holders though which can come in handy during outings. Aftermarket units are available. Comfort wise the seat is very well made though a bit thin. This does two things; 1) Does not get as hot as other baby stroller seats which is a plus, 2) Does not offer as much cushion as other strollers. So ,it is a trade off of one or the other which requires Mom and Dad to decide which is more important. Would be purchase it again? For an infant convertible stroller-yes. As a baby stroller using it's included baby seat=iffy. Recommendations Add further sun protection to this unit. Even if it was a snap on blanket to cover the entire unit for sun protection. This would really add to an otherwise great stroller. Add 2 cupholders-would not impede on the weight of this stroller. PROS Very modern, sleek. Well made aluminum stroller. SEXY! Very light Nice convertible stroller for Britax car seats Folds down very flat Real air inflated tires for a great ride Front wheels lock easily with oversized locking tabs Plenty of bottom storage for one baby CONS Price-but you get what you pay for. Pay for a Chebbie and you get a Chevy. :) Very poor sun control cover=our largest complaint. No cupholders Lee A. Dye Simi Valley,CA.

Best Stroller EVER!!!,
By
This review is from: Britax Vigour Stroller, Black (Baby Product)
After spending a ridiculous amount of time researching strollers, I decided to go with the Britax Vigour. I love this stroller!!!
Pros: Safe. Turns on a dime. Sturdy construction. Smooth ride for baby. Great looking. $500 less than a Bugaboo system. Works great for tall parents. Quick and compact fold. Great travel system with the Britax Companion car seat... just, click and go. Easy for a mom to lift in and out of a truck or hatch-back. One piece handle-bar allows for one-hand steering (sorry, Peg Perego ... but, two handles just aren't practical). Nice (but, not flat) recline for baby. Seat can be positioned to face parent or the world. Cons: The sunshade is way TOO small and offers virtually no protection for baby. I attached an after-market shade to the stroller to reduce glare, but I would have preferred a bigger shade. The seat is a bit small, so my daughter may outgrow the Vigour by teh time she is a small toddler. My advice ... buy it!!!

We purchased the stroller 9 months ago. We loved it, but on our first plane trip a plastic part that holds the handle to the base broke. The stroller was still operable, but on the next plane trip the other part broke. Now it's inoperable. We contacted Britax and there customer service took care of the situation by sending us a new stroller to replace this one without charge. We love the stroller and based on their response this is product issue, they have very, very happy customer and advocate for their company.
Also, for some reason I could not change my original rating once I submitted my comments. I rate this product and company a 5.

Good Looking Stroller. Great Wheels. Iffy about the rest.,

This review is from: Britax Vigour Stroller in Blue (Baby Product)
Recently purchased this stroller for our 11 month old. BabyUSA stores carry the stroller if you'd like to see it before your purchase. We are having a very hard time adjusting the straps to fit our 18 Ibs baby, although the straps should fit a 40 Ibs baby. It were helpful to have an instruction booklet, which does not come with the stroller(only a brief pamphlet about how to attach the carseat and seat, and assembly of the pieces).
Most reviews we saw were about the car seat (i.e. using the stroller as a travel system). I am a bit baffled as to why people would spend $300 instead of just getting a snap and go. We figured that a $300 stroller would be a good functioning stroller. I had a Peg Milano, Graco, Circo. My friends have MacLarens and Peg Pliko P3, so I can safely compare this stroller to all those models. We bought this as a strolelr (i.e. using the frame and the seat) 1. The stroller is REALLY heavy. (The Bugaboo is half its weight). It is not practical to fold with the seat attahced becasue you need to be RAMBO to be able to lift the thing up and into the trunk.Although if you were doing this to save space in your home, it does stand on its own quite nicely. However, when pushing it, you do not feel how heavy it is. You can even push it with one hand. 2. Having to remove the seat each time you need to fit the stroller in the trunk is quite complicated. By the way, the seat doesn't fold. It is a "straight" piece that does take up much room and volume. The wheels snap off the frame quite easily. The frame is pretty light. 3. The seat is not as cushioned as the Peg and graco. 4. The seat is narrower than all the strollers mentioned above. Our baby is 50% percentile weight. I can't imagine how a 90% percentile baby would be comfortable in the thing. 5. The adjustment handle is really wonderful. All the recline positions are very useful. However it does NOT recline to a full 180 degrees. The Peg and Graco do.. (Maclaren does not). 6. The sun cover is WAY too small. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase an add-on sun shield which ranges between $20- $50 (in addition to the $300...) 7. There are no parent tray or child tray. When your child is older you would like to put a snack on a tray while traveling outside. And it is nice to have a sippy cup there for your baby to sip when they're thirsty. Of course you could purchase a unviversal cup holder or snack tray. Another $20 in addition to the price of the strolelr. Will let you know which one fits once I buy it. 8. The bar is really small and narrow (Bugaboo a lot larger), so I don't know if any of those universal attachments will fit onto it. This bar comes off, but it is nice to have it for the child to hold while traveling. 9. The wheels are totally awesome and can weather through anything .We have friends that change the orientation or completely remove their outdoor mat in order to enter their home with the strolelr. You don't need to do so with this stroller. 10. The stroller looks amazing, so high- tech 11. Watch the price of this blue one- apparently not a popular color cause it costs less than the rest.. We purchased for $250, then it went up to $300 and now I see it's $267.. A note for the manufacturer- here are some ways to improve the stroller: 1. Why not make the under-basket larger. It would be very simple and make life easier for the parents. 2. Why not attach a sort of "mesh envelope" to the back of the seat, preferably with a compartment for the cell phone..? 3. parent/child tray or at least have it as an accesory for us to add on 4. Does the seat really need to be SO heavy? 5. The seat could be about 1 inch wider. The frame is so wide there is no reason for the attached piece to be so narrow 6 Why is the bassinet attachement not availabel in the USA? What a hassle to have to get it from England. 7. Better padding on the seat and on its sides (to cover the metal) 8. Please supply an instructions booklet

Great stroller for young babies,
This review is from: Britax Vigour Stroller in Blue (Baby Product)
This stroller is fun and easy to push. The fabric is stylish and it goes great with the companion car seat. My concern is that my 12-month old reaches the foot rest, and he fills the tiny seat. This is a great stroller for a young baby, but don't plan to use it for a 2-year-old.
It is rather heavy, and folding takes two hands. It's rather difficult to get it folded without scraping it on the ground. The sunshade is small but you can buy an add on. So, just be aware that while the stroller itself works great, if you need to fold and unfold it a lot, or if you have a toddler, this is not the best choice. Overall, though, I look forward to a walk with the baby each day with this stroller.

I absolutely love this stroller. It just feels totally different from any other I have pushed. So smooth and stable and sporty. It's just awesome! The only slight drawback is that it doesn't fold down to be really compact...we have a small SUV so its no problem, but if you own a compact car it might be tough. Other than that, 5 stars all the way. We're using it with the Companion infant seat right now.

Sturdy, Safe, Impressive Stroller...Super Deal!,
This review is from: Britax Vigour Stroller, Black (Baby Product)
This is the best deal on a stroller you can find. I've done my homework! I purchased this stroller on Amazon for about $150 less than the store near my house sells it for. The Britax Companion Infant carseat snaps right in. And when my son can sit up on his own, he can ride in the stroller seat. We haven't tried it yet, but I think infants can lay flat in the stroller seat, so you may not need the matching carseat if you've already purchased one...look into that. Every time we take our son out, he falls asleep during the drive and we just keep him cozy in his carseat and pop it in. This stroller looks and works just like a Bugaboo that retails for over $800. Yep, it's heavy (just like the Companion carseat), but I only want the best for my baby...and I have found it in this Britax set. It's so safe and sturdy. I have used other strollers with my sister's family and as a nanny. This beats any competition hands down. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit extra on this stroller. You will be so happy that you did. Happy Shopping!

i got this stroller in mint condition and i love it. my son loves it. it looks complicated to put together but once u get the hang on how it works its very easy to take apart and put back together. nothing was cheaply made on this stroller, the fabic looks brighter online, but it still is a great color and it even has some holographic lines onthe fabric u cant see online. i love how it adjust to tons of postions face forward or backward. the strectch basket underneath is much roomier than it looks! i would recommend this to anyone. i even jog great with it, its a lil tall for me but the handle ajusts a few different ways as well.

Britax Vigour Black,
This review is from: Britax Vigour Stroller, Black (Baby Product)
Very happy with new stroller. Very easy to assemble (under 10 minutes) and maneuver. Took baby for a 45 min. walk and she loved it! The suspension is just right for the size. The under carriage compartment is petite but enough for the essentials. Really liked the adjustable handle bar and front/rear facing combo seat. The mini air pump was not so easy to use ;>), but after a couple of tries was finally able to lock it in place. I had to inflate them twice because I didn't notice I put too much pressure on the rubber wile inflating it (holding it between my knees), thus the tire was a little bit lopsided the firt time.
