Brilliant White Light with Wide Spread
Specially designed for police officers, this Brite Strike Blue Dot flashlight provides brilliant white light at up to 340 lumens. Its wide spread creates a flood effect that's large enough to illuminate the entire area in and around a vehicle.
Extended Run Times Ensure Optimum Reliability
This Blue Dot flashlight offers extended run times, so you have light for as long as you need it. It runs for two and a half hours on the Hi setting, over eight hours on Lo, and three hours on the Strobe setting.
Durable Aerospace Aluminum Casing
Ready for action under even the harshest, most hostile conditions, this flashlight is CNC machine milled from a single billet of high-grade aerospace aluminum. Its proprietary black anodized casing is waterproof and shockproof. The casing exceeds Mil Spec Class Two Type III specifications, which means it offers optimum protection against the elements and won't chip, flake, or crack.
Tri-Sided Body and Tactical Touch Switch for Comfort and Control
For optimum control and comfort, this flashlight has a tri-sided body that offers an ergonomic grip. The patented HLS (Hi/Lo/Strobe) Tactical Touch switch design allows you to turn on the light or switch modes with the touch of a finger.
Advanced Chip Technology Prevents Light Failure
To prevent light failure, the switch utilizes six-chip digital power management technology. Additionally, the switch is slightly recessed within the flashlight's crenellated crown for protection against damage.
Designed for Law Enforcement
Designed for use by law enforcement personnel, this Blue Dot flashlight has a blunt crenellated strike crown on the front and an aggressive crown on the rear for maximum effectiveness during pressure point control applications. For fast draws, the pocket clip is reversed to offer optimum clearance from pockets, belts, or pants. The clip can also be easily attached to an epaulet.
The Brite Strike Blue Dot Rechargeable LED Flashlight is backed by a one-year warranty.

Be extra cautious of the amazon warehouse deals for this item. They seem to be reselling the defective flashlights that I and other reviewers have returned.
1) The flashlight is just as bright as my Streamlight Strion LED which is 3 years old and it's rated at 170 lumens! No way this light is 220 lumens. Although it does have a slightly larger beam diameter than my Strion....
2) The blue button can only be pushed using the end of your thumb due to the design, not the flat part of your thumb like on my Strion which makes using it akward.
3) I just don't think it's worth the $. The $24.99 Energizer flashlight I got from target is nearly as bright as this one, just not as white in color.
4) The battery has to be removed to charge it unlike my Strion which just goes right on the charger.
5) The strobe light flashes much slower than my strion which makes it less effective in disorienting an attacker.
Things I do like:
1) Compact size fits in my shirt pocket.
2) The clip is nice to keep it in place.
3) That's about it.
When I looked over SureFire and Streamlight's flashlights, I couldn't find one that offered high/low/strobe, 200+ lumen output, rechargeable battery, and a simple output selector switch. I was about ready to give up and purchase SureFire's G3 when I found the Brite Strike.
Honestly, it had the simplest switch setup among the three brands I was looking at. One full press and the light outputs on high, depress the switch again (lightly) for low, press again (lightly) for strobe, and then another full press turns it off. Simple. No twist and then click setup involved at all for constant-on (which was a problem I had with the other lights) and it had the high/low/strobe arrangement that I wanted. Those lights that I looked at with comparable switch setups didn't have a 200+ lumen output.
As for output, the Brite Strike outputs at a specified 220 lumens, I couldn't find another flashlight that had the same rating with the switch setup I wanted, most of the lights which had comparable outputs (in the 200 lumen range) had undesirable features.
I purchased the Brite Strike "ROTO-LOC Articulating Tactical Holster"...doing my best to ignore the "ROTO-LOC" name...primarily because it allows hands-free operation. The holster that the light comes with is pretty nice...except that it is made out of cordua/nylon which will wear down. The articulating holster is easier to work with, at least to me, and seems much more durable. You will have to adjust it to fit a 2" duty belt, but that's easy to fix, just get a Phillips head screwdriver.Read more ›
