Product Description

Brite Strike Tactical Balls Flashlight RID3

From the Manufacturer

The Tactical Balls RID-3 rolling illuminated distraction and disorientation devices were designed for use by police officers with no specialized training when you need a little something to get the bad guys attention to focus away from you. Small, lightweight, water resistant, and shock resistant, they are concentric and weighted so they will wobble and spin all around when rolled or tossed into a room, then land light up to backlight the bad guy. The bad guy gets distracted and this buys you time to make your move. Tactical Balls RID-3 were never intended to replace flashbangs. We have a saying at Brite Strike, that on a scale of 1 to 10, with a flashbang at a 10, we would rate the Tactical Balls RID-3 at a 2. But a 2 is still twice as good as nothing! For entry to an area that has flammable material, Tactical Balls RID-3 is the answer. We get a few people that ask why we did not make the Tactical Balls RID-3 strobe, particularly when our Tactical Touch switch with HI/LO/Strobe is so effective. The simple answer is that you do not want to be looking at a strobe light when you enter. The spin and wobble that is built into the Tactical Balls RID-3 creates the same effect, then stops just in time for you to make your entry into a dark room.

If you are buying this as a piece of tactical equipment, you need to look elsewhere.

My partner even borrowed my balls once and cleared an entire floor of an apartment building with them in his mouth.

Instead of prosthetic testicular implants, I opted for these tactical balls and I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased my set of tactical balls months ago. The instructor at the facility I took training from at the time informed the class they we all had to have a set of balls to be able to complete his class. I purchased mine the next day online.

They are REALLY rugged. During a training run, I took a squib round right in the pouch that holds my balls. I quickly pulled them out and examined them, fearing the worst. I shouldn't have worried. Running my hands over them, I saw they were totally undamaged and ready for duty. I also like the fact that you get THREE of them. Most guys would be happy with two, but it's good to know that when you suit up with your three tactical balls, you have a a bit of an edge over everyone else.

There have been some who complained about the cheapness of the pouch. I can't complain myself. It does its job, which is to keep your tactical balls from smacking around your legs or coming loose when you run.

The best thing is that these new balls are so easy to use. After a bit of coaching, even my wife (who is not as tactically minded as I) was able to handle my tactical balls like a real pro. They're just heavy and round enough to fill her hand. Heck, she handles them more now than I get to!

Get your Brite Strike Tactical Balls today. You really won't regret yet!

Since I became an honorary member of the Punxatawney swat team a year ago, I have desperately needed a set of tactical balls. The other members of my team all had balls so I thought I could get by without them. One the few occasions when I took point and really needed a set of balls, I would use my partners. He doesn't mind letting me hold onto them. I eventually bought my own and never looked back.
The tactical balls are extremely effective. When my men and I are breaching a stronghold, we all simply whip out our balls and throw them all around. This garners a great deal of attention from the bad-guys and allows us to quickly mount our adversaries.
The one drawback of the tactical balls is their pouch. The just don't ride evenly; one always seems to droop in the pouch lower than the others. However, there are quite a few places into which the balls fit snuggly. I like to keep mine with my flashlight. My partner even borrowed my balls once and cleared an entire floor of an apartment building with them in his mouth. (HIs is quite good at spitting and planned to deploy them in this manner).

Interesting item. First there is no strobe. It feels like it wont last very long if you actually throw them. The problem is, they are "tactical distractions" but you have to turn them on before you throw them giving away your position. They should have an impact switch that turns them on after throwing, That would be much better

This product was bought as a joke for some leo's who do a good deal of tactical work. On the 3rd toss across a carpeted floor one of the balls stopped working. The light output on these things is on par with a much cheaper keychain light and calling something like this a "distraction device" is a pushing all realms of credibility. A better distraction in a tactical situation could be had from banging some pots and pans from the kitchen.

Anyway, product is a cheaply made, poorly functioning, unreliable piece of kit. If you are buying this as a toy or, as in my case, a joke, you are paying too much. If you are buying this as a piece of tactical equipment, you need to look elsewhere.

I love the concept, just can't deal with the price. In my opinion these would be a disposable asset and there would never warrant the value of the cost. Feels cheap enough, could be built for about $15 maximum..won't be buying more at this $

These are a great addition to my tactical vest seeing as how I do not have access to flashbangs. I have not had any problems with them and I'm proud to carry them on my vest. As for everyone who says they are useless, yes they are not flashbangs and are not nearly as effective as flashbangs, but they are better than nothing and if you have access to flashbangs then you don't need these to begin with.
