The only positive about this product: easy to setup. However, once setup it is of no real use. Two reasons: firstly it adds a huge lag. So it won't be in sync with say a movie or a synth. Secondly, even the sound that makes it after the lag is of poor quality. It is subdued.

I was a little miffed that my brand spanking new Kindle Fire didn't come with Bluetooth connectivity, so after fiddling with all sorts of long cords for earbuds... I finally decided to look for a Bluetooth transmitter so I could use my trusty Plantronics stereo headset.

First... the instruction manual is loosely translated from Chinese. It's garbage. This device will pair with any A2DP enabled headset that has been left at its DEFAULT password. If you've changed the password for your Bluetooth headset because you're tired of having your set pick up your cubicle neighbor's phone... this transmitter can pair with "0000" "1234" "1111" or "8888." If you have no idea what I'm talking about... read the manual for your Bluetooth headset. There is no way to reset the defaults on the dongle.

Pairing... put your headset in "findable" mode. Do this BEFORE you even touch the dongle. Press and hold the dongle's button until it starts flashing blue and red. (I don't know if the instructions say this... because I gave up on them after the 10th grammatical mistake.) Then let go and let your headset and dongle flash at each other for a few seconds. Eventually the dongle will talk with your headset... and will blink blue.

Sound quality is fine. I really don't notice a difference between the dongle and my Kindle Fire... and using the headset with my iPhone.

If you like to wander... this isn't the gadget for you. If you lose your signal... there's a better than even chance you'll have to repair your headset with the dongle. The dongle's ability to recapture the signal after its lost is rather limited... so off with a star. But otherwise... it does what it's supposed to do... and for a few bucks less than other similar Bluetooth transmitters.

This device performs flawlessly, under tough conditions, I can plug it into a TV at the local sports bar, pair it with one of my headphones, and hear the entire game over the noise of the crowd and the other nearby TVs. At work, I can plug it into my Coby or other MP3 player, pair it with a headphone, and move around and work without wires. Pairing is nearly automatic and battery life is good for a full shift and then some. If I was any more positive about it, they'd probably think it was worth more money and raise the price. Well worth what it costs.Britelink (TM) Bluetooth Audio Transmitter: Portable, Bluetooth Music Transmitter for 3.5 mm Audio Devices Wireless Streaming (iPod,MP3,MP4,TV,media players...)

I purchased this to use with my keyboard for live performances. The reviews suggested that it had no time delay while watching TV. Although the dongle was easy to connect and worked with my Bluetooth headset, the time delay was unacceptable for live performance. I wish that the description had indicated this problem before I purchased the device.

The first one I received was returned because it didn't work. The seller was very good about the return. The second one has been working fine up until now. Now it doesn't seem to want to work. So $30 for 7-8 months? You decide if it's worth it or not.

There is nothing exciting about this product, except that it appears to do exactly what it is supposed to do, with a minimum of fiddling. Simply follow the instructions to locate a bluetooth receiver, and it just works. I am very satisfied with the performance. The construction is not particularly durable, however I doubt the unit will be subjected to much abuse, so it's not a huge problem for me (the unit is sitting on top of a stationary Roku box). If I intended to use this while bicycling or hiking, I would probably seek a more sturdy housing.

This bluetooth transmitter does what it says it will, and it does connect easily to most any bluetooth device. So it is a good value in that regard. What I do not really like about it is that if you turn off your bluetooth device and try to re-establish contact with the transmitter, you have to re-discover it, or turn it off then back on to get it to pair back up. That is annoying if you have to go across the room each time you want to use the device you have it plugged into. Other than that it works fairly well. I do also experience audio cut outs (skips) after the unit has been on a while. Not sure if that is just my unit or typical of the tx units overall.

Device works OK when I can get it to pair with my hearing aid receiver device. The hearing aid device pairs with cell phone, TV Link device and Ipod Touch readily so I have to rate the Britelink low.
