Nice example of what an Osprey book can be,

This review is from: British Air Forces 1914-18 (2) (Men-at-Arms) (Paperback)
As a collector, I find a lot of Osprey books to be a bit superficial when dealing with the material culture of soldiers. This book, however, satisfied my need for an explanation of uniforms, flying clothing and accessories. One of the best aspects is that it seems to have more photos than most Men-at-Arms books. If not more, the photos have been reproduced larger and have very informative captions--two elements very important to collectors.
A good book: Well-written, great images, strong captions and reliable, well-documented information. I do not hesitate to recommend it to collectors. |
