This review is from: Bats Of British Columbia (Royal British Columbia Museum Handbook,) (Paperback)
This book is very useful for someone studying or interested in bats in the Pacific Northwest. Although the book is on bats in British Columbia, I've found it to be a great resource for Washington as well. The book could definitely have been organized better so that it's easier to find the bat you're looking for, but it is a relatively short book, so it's not too big of a problem. The index is very annoying to use; each bat is probably listed in the index under 4 different names, and beside each name, instead of just telling you the page number, it tells you a different name to look it up under, so the majority of the time you end up having to look it up twice. Kind of frustrating. Otherwise, love the book and have used it many times.
