This book is an excellent introduction to anyone who is new to this breed of cat. Very simple to understand and provides the necessary stepping stone for new pet owners of British Shorthair cats. Two extra advantages are that it has lots of good quality pictures and the pages are glossy.

I have had cats my whole life. But I didn't know a lot about british shorthair cats. The book is very good. It gives you the history, physical characteristics,diet,care, breeding British Shorthairs, genetics, and more. The reason I gave the book four stars is because there is a miss-print on page 58. In bold letters on the side of the page it should say round worm not ring worm. It is how ever written the right way in the main part of the book.
