5.0 out of 5 stars Triple Threat: The Best For The Buck
The three albums this boxset contains are quite possibly the three best that Judas Priest ever put out. Priest has had heavier, and faster albums since, but none can compare to the gestalt they created on these three. British Steel put them on the map with Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight, two instant classics as soon as they were pressed into vinyl. Point Of...

Point Of Entry, though not as commercially successful, is full of lost gems. Solar Angels and Desert Plains were innovative for their time and great driving songs. Screaming For Vengeance made them heavy metal heroes. Every song on that album has been played on hard rock radio stations across the world. I highly recommend getting this, not only does it document the rise of British Heavey metal in the late 70's and early 80's, but these albums are all timeless and can be redicovered by younger metal fans over and over. For [the price] of a cd, this deal can't be beat.

This is a genious idea to put 3 badass CDs in a box set and sell it for a low price. If you don't have any of these CDs and you want them get this.

I saw these three albums on amazon for 15 bucks it said acceptable condition with 100% guarantee so I got them what a gem British steel is the album they started to incorpate leather and started the metal head look which rob halford got from gay leather shops in alley ways in england nobody knew except rob and the gay culture it wasn't till years later that rob came out of the closet who cares though his true fans stuck by him say what you will but besides dio, ozzy, and bruce Dickinsion he is in the elite of metal singers nobody can hit those notes case in point screaming for vengeance and painkiller the songs not the albums that pich can make a dog howl and he still can do it after all these years anyway back to the review british steel is a good basic album along with point of entry but screaming is perfection and is rated the number 10 best metal album of all time with defenders of the faith not to far behind and sad wings of destiny even in the top 50 that is a must for all priest fans good buy all three british steel (1980) point of entry (1981) and Screaming for vengeance (1982)

5.0 out of 5 stars Listen to those who can actually spell..., December 15, 1999

These three albums are HOT! Stepping away from the 70's style metal but not yet into that silly "Turbo" cheese, this is the blueprint for good modern metal. Just remember, if they can't spell it, don't read it!

I believe that both of these guys agree. These albums are good. Before you make fun of one's spelling, please make sure you are able to read. He said he "did" like this album.

I thing judas priest was the best Heavy Metal band in the 80 and part of the 90. I belive, some thing, if Roberth Halforth returns to priest again it's gonna be like the old times in my opinion the last two albums theres suck's.
