With her first two albums Britney Spears proved to everyone that throne of Madonna - The Queen Of Pop is in serious danger. And now with her third album simply entitled "Britney" it seems she can also take away the crown from Janet Jackson - The Queen Of R'n'B. After listening to this album I think it's a question of time.

This is expanded edition of this album, which besides all 12 songs from its standard version contains 2 from 3 brilliant bonus tracks from its Japanese edition, 3 very good remixes of album's biggest hits and DVD with her 3 videos, interview and Pepsi's commercial.

This album is a bridge between Spears' pop past and her r'n'b future because besides up-tempo pop songs written and produced by Max Martin, who is responsible for huge success of her previous albums which made her the biggest pop star on Earth, above all it surprises with completely brand new r'n'b sound. All because Britney's new producers Rodney Jerkins and The Neptunes showed her a new way of searches in music and wrote for her almost half of all songs on this album. It caused very successful metamorphosis of her music. Such big pop artists like Justin Timberlake and Dido also wrote some material. And even Spears co-wrote five songs.

All this album is very catchy and even its bonus tracks and b-sides are among the most marvellous things Spears ever did. Especially astonishing "Before The Goodbye" (available only on some of the expanded versions without DVD or on the alternate version with DVD) and "I Run Away", which along with "Cinderella" are definitely some of her best tunes ever. Other great songs are such r'n'b jewels like: "I'm A Slave 4 U", "Lonely", "What It's Like To Be Me" or "Let Me Be" and such pop pearls like: "Bombastic Love", "Overprotected" and beautiful ballad "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman".

Every fan of Spears, Madonna or especially Janet Jackson must have this album. Like always, it's full of great songs and so fresh production. This time you can choose either expanded version with 15 songs (without DVD and remixes but with all brilliant Japanese bonus tracks) or this edition (but either with ballad "I Run Away" or with dance masterpiece "Before The Goodbye"). So choose your edition and enjoy!

Ok, it's a fact that everything Britney makes is great!! But, this is the best! Sure, I had the original 'Britney' CD, but then I found out about the import and just had to get it. I recomend this for all Britney fans!

This is an awesome purchase!, Comes complete with Full "Britney" Album and a DVD ( I lost mine :( ) The DVD is awesome with the Britney Videos and lots of interviews. Its Better than The actual induvidual "Britney DVD" Release. My fave of the whole DVD is the "I'm A Slave 4 U" Video, The interviews are cool aswell. The Britney Album is awesome aswell, a huuuuge improvement since her 2nd and 1st efforts. The Dirty Beat of "Slave " is infectious and the songs have an awesome obsession to it. I also love "Anticipating", "I LOVE rock n Roll" my fave is "Let Me BE" Overall, One of her best CD's, "IN THE ZONE" is better, but this is amazing! Reccomended 100%!! Be Warned the bests are awesome it'll make you want to dance!. Over all 5/5!!!

This is an amazing Australian edition that comes with a few remixes and a bonus DVD. This is the DVD case version, there's another version out there that comes in a digipack case. The difference is, this version comes with I Run Away, while the Britney Spears [Import] comes with Before the Goodbye as the bonus track. Both are very valuable for collectors anyway, it's up to you.

2001-2002 was a big year for Britney. She released her 3rd studio album, titled "Britney", made a contract with "Pepsi" corporation, and helped write/produce her own movie "Crossroads". Britney the album would go on to be one of her most successful, yet underrated albums. One complaint that most fans have about this era is the songs that were chosen as singles. While songs like "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", and even "Boys", are good, they aren't as good as songs like "Anticipating", "Lonely", "What It's Like To Be Me", etc. But things like how great her body looks, an amazing tour, and spectacular videos make up for that.

The CD comes with 2 out of the 3 bonus tracks (When I Found You and I Run Away) and excludes "Before The Goodbye". There is also 3 bonus remixes: "I'm A Slave 4 U" (Thunderpuss Radio Mix), "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" (Metro Remix), and "Overprotected" (The Darkchild Radio Edit). Inside the DVD case itself is the booklet, along with a surprisingly very accurate lyrics booklet.

The DVD itself is pretty informative. Britney talks about the album. Like how she likes it more than her previous two, and some of the songs on it. The man asks a variety of questions too, so that makes it more interesting. Along with the interview we get 3 of her music videos: The "Overprotected (Darkchild Version)", "I'm A Slave 4 U" and "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman". We also get a special performance of the album version of "Overprotected", and a behind the scenes look at "The Making Of The Pepsi World Cup Commercial", along with the song "Right Now (Taste The Victory)".

Overall, this CD/DVD is very good. It's very informative and it's nice to see what is on her mind at this time. I recommend that any Britney fan buy this. But hurry up, it's limited edition!

I ordered this CD because it was a special edition of her third album, BRITNEY. It was a really cool set with exclusive dvd features such as behind the scenes and performances. If you're gonna buy her BRITNEY album go for this instead!

I'm a huge Britney fan and I always wanted the deluxe edition of her best era!

The CD is awesome, but I just saw only two new tracks ("When I Found You" and "I Run Away")... The other three are remixes of "I'm a Slave 4U", "Overprotected" (the Darkchild, ain't new) and "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman". I expected more.

The DVD is good too, but the interview didn't bring nothing new. Well... It was cute to see her many faces! I loved the Making Of, but the "Overprotected" performance was sort of random.

With YouTube and the others collections that Britney released after, it kind of lost the magic it had before. If she had released this now, I would rate 4. But I'll give a break and rate 5. If I was in 2002 now, I would rate 5, 'cause the new songs, the interview and the music videos would be new for me.

If you're a huge Britney fan like me, it's worth to buy it!

I love this CD.The bonus tracks are When I found You and I run away.There are also 3 remixes:Overprotected darkchild mix , not a girl metro mix , and slave 4 u thunderpuss radio mix.The dvd includes videos for slave 4 u , overprotected , not a girl , boys , and rock n roll.+Interviews with brit.Worth every penny.

This a very cool item. It includes a poster inside the slipcase with a 2 Disc CD/DVD Set. The CD has 5 Bonus Tracks that are very cool. It has bonus remixes of "Overprotected", "I'm A Slave 4 U", and "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Women". It has a bonus DVD with "Britney Talks" part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. It includes exlcusive remixes and the Making Of The Pepsi Commercial. Along with "Lights, Camera, Action - Overprotected" which is Britney performing and dancing to "Overprotected". It comes in an awesome slipcase with a booklet that has lyrics and exclusive pictures of Britney. It is a great collectors item for any Britney fan. It's very awesome and has great DVD videos and awesome CD tracks. It's a great Britney item for any fan to have. If you find it then buy it because this is one of Britney's greatest items.

I THINK THAT THIS PACKAGE IS EXCELENT BECAUSE WHEN YOU SHOP IT ¡, YOU GET A DVD AND THE CD OF BRITNEY, WHERE YOU CAN HEAR HER 2001 CD ALBUM CALLED "BRITNEY", JUST I TELL THAT SMALL COMENTARY AND I SAY THAT IT'S SO COOL, SO WHAT SHOP IT. OKIES
