And haven't since! This unofficial vid is totally stupid because you don't ever get real interview footage with Britney and you only see her a few times at a mall preformance, but you never hear her sing! And its hard to see her because the sponser of the show shes at has their name on a banner which has to be blocked out the whole video!

Its not very good because all you see are interviews with people who barely knew Britney! THe closest you get is Britneys relatives! IF you are a fan this video isn't all that great unless you are interested in Britneys past a lot! I gave it 3 stars because It was cool at first but really I wouldn't reccommend it!

We bought this video more than a year ago and only complained to Amazon what a ripoff it is--we should have put our comments online for others to use to prevent further ripoffs! Talk about false advertising! Parents who are tired of getting ripped off by people putting some group's or singer's name on a video which has nothing to do with the musical group/singer, (except wishful thinking), should demand honest disclosure of the absence of the person in the title from these films. The misleading nature of these titles ought to be subject to penalty and fines when this kind of garbage is sold by reputable dealers--there's nothing in this video that should entitle it to be listed as a Britney Spears movie, when searches are done by a singer or group's name. Not likely that any part of this amateur hour effort would interest any Britney Spears fan, and it ought to be illegal to list (and thereby suggest) this as a film about her or with her music videos just because her name is in the title--she's not in it and it's not about her. BUYER BEWARE! We watched it once and then it never again saw the light of day...it's not an honest way to make money and I for one, am tired of being ripped off by this sort of abuse.

My 5 year old daughter loves Britney! I thought I was giving her a cute little Christmas gift. She fell asleep on my lap while watching it together. Same pictures, interviews with people who were like "I sat next to her in dancing school when we were maybe 3". I hated it! I bought the authorized one first & it was all broken, video scrambled & cassette jumbled, tried to return for a better one, none available. Luckily I got my money back, but totally wasted it on this junk. Trying to make my daughter happy, I bought this! Solid Gold Garbage.

Don't be fooled. For those who admire Britney for her music, there is none here. And for those whose primary concern is her looks, there is next to no footage of her above the age of 11. The makers of this video seem to have been only interested in getting something--anything--they could put Britney's name on. So we get interviews with people who knew her growning up. Take a look at the picture on the cover. That's the closest this comes to any representation on Britney and it's the best you'll see on this DVD, by far. So just photocopy the cover if you must.

This isn't very good! FIrst off, it's not even official! You can't expect a non official DVD to be very good. Also, the picture quality was a disapointment. Let me just end by saying this: I love Britney, but this DVD just isn't worth it and is boring!

I think Britney is great, but this movie was the total opposit. You acctualy see britney maybe twice, and they spend forever talking to people who maybe passed her on the street. It is like, " Yeah when I was born she was in the same hospital as me" than they spend ten minutes interviewing this unknown person on there experience! Stupid, wake me up when it is over!

I really like this video. It gave me an idea of what Britney did while she was growing up. I am a hugeeeeeeeeee fan of Britney Spears! I really admire her courage and bravery to go on. The only thing missing from this video was Britney herself! There were no music videos or interviews. Otherwise, I really liked this video.

~*~Okay I worked hard outside mowing the lawn just to get enough money to buy this stupid video:( When i baught it I thaught it was gonna be her talking and singing and answering some of the questions that evryone wants to know. Instead of doing that all the people in her small town talked about how they used to have doll parties, and how she threw her retainer in her teacher's hand! It basically didn't say anyhting about her now~a~days it only talked about her when she was younger. I know that i wanted to know what shes doing next and if she has a new album comming out, instead i sat there and listen to her old hair dresser say "oh i used to cut her hair!" So i do not reccamnd anyone to buy this it is a waist of $$$$MONEY$$$$$$$$$$$$.

This DVD was made after baby one more time exploded onto the scene. it contains no performances or music by britney, and only has a few pictures of her. It's just a bunch of interviews with people from her hometown in louisianna...all of which have hair straight out of the 80s and don't work well in front of cameras. It's been recorded on a home video camcorder obviously.

my advice is to skip this...save your money, it's a snoozefest. Even if you area huge britney fan, you'll end up regretting buying this.

This release is unauthorized, Britney makes no money from it.

This documentary is the funniest thing in the world! The quality of the film is odd and it's unauthorized so none of Britney's music or preformances can be used so, instead, the filmmakers subsituted some weird music to sound like a Britney song. Classic! The core of this documentary is basically people from Britney's hometown talking about how great she is and how they always knew she'd be famous and yada yada yada. Some of the subjects interviewed are so painfully stupid that you want to shoot them yourself to put them out of their misery but, you still want to laugh at them. The best interviews are with some forty something women waxing poetic about Britney. No offense to Kentwood, LA but, you guys might wanna think before you do interviews about Britney, at least practice in a mirror before you go on camera. Needless to say, this dvd is only intresting if you like laughing at people (who doesn't?) or you're a die hard Britney fan.
