I have never trained a bird dog before. So this book was bought to get ideas and instructions on how to train a dog. The book is easy to read and appears to have ways to train the dog clearly defined. Obviously it is to early to tell weather the instructions yield results as I still have not trained a dog. I have bought a puppy and have begun some of the fundamental behavior training.
