About the Author
Mike Sexton earned his BSc. in electrical engineering at the University of London. He has extensive experience working for Alcatel in Brussels and Paris, as well as being manager of transport architecture at BNR Europe. Andy Reid earned his BSc. in electrical engineering at Dundee University and is currently manager for broadband strategic framework for British Telecom.

Nice reference and very good source of information. If you like to go into the technical detail, you will find this bookd very useful, whereas you can only search for the information you need.

Este es uno de los mejores libros que he leido! . Presenta la información de manera conscisa y práctica, ideal para los principiantes e intermedios en el ámbito de las redes de banda ancha. Proporciona una perspectiva clara de los estandares SONET y SDH, además de una covertura muy buena de ATM sobre SDH. No es la roseta de las telecouminaciones pero tampoco es un libro Michey Mouse.
