About the Author

Uma S. Jha is chief mobility architect at Boeing Co. Formerly, he was chief technology officer of Airify Communications. A well-published author and holder of key patents in the area of 3rd generation wireless systems, Dr. Jha has over 25 years of industry experience. He received his M.S. in electrical engineering from California State University, Fullerton, Engineer degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and his Ph.D. from the University of Aalborg, Denmark. Ramjee Prasad is director of the Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF), Aalborg University. He is the author of OFDM for Wireless Communications Systems (Artech House, 2004), coauthor of 4G Roadmap and Emerging Communication Technologies, From WPANs to Personal Networks: Technologies and Applications, and Security in Wireless Networks and Mobile Platforms (Artech House, 2006), co-editor of Wireless IP and Building the Mobile Internet (Artech House, 2003), and is the author/coauthor of several other books published by Artech House.
